MAN, the art of Francis Manapul and Brian Buccellato is ASTONISHING. I've been looking through some of their Detective Comics stuff, and I already knew the art in the New 52 Flash stuff I read with them is insanely good, too.

I can't wait to read through their run.

I'm starting Brubaker's run on Daredevil. It's the only "big" run on modern Daredevil I haven't read (I read all of the Miller, Bendis, and Waid stuff).

You guys have any favorite runs on Daredevil?

War of Kings is dope as hell. Really love that there's an Inhumans reading order in the back. A book that has my favorite character beating the hell out of one of my least favorites? Naturally it's amazing.

Just some food for thought for a couple of folks; I have noticed a tonal shift of ComicGAF from being a unique crowd of individuals who enjoy comics, to a place that is incredibly insular and full of people who are more concerned with playing a character and being loud without saying much of anything of value. We've lost quite a few people with good reason, and even I've been turned off to posting in this thread because I get some weird ass vibes. Please be ComicGAF again and not the CBR message boards.

Yeah it was iffy, I didn't read flash.. but I did like Detective Comic, story was a little stale at times.
But yeah Manapul is a beast.... he has a creator own project coming up soon

Broken Hollow looks gorgeous, I'm completely taken by the colour palette. I had the chance to meet Manapul when his New 52 Flash run was in single digits. He's such a cool guy. He signed my floppies and trades and was keen on small talk. I'm not familiar with his earlier independent work, but I've been meaning to check out the Iron Saint for some time.

I did not know Manapul was writing and drawing Aquaman: Earth One for release in 2016.

I'm not even sure whether to respond, but it's not about regulars vs new people. I probably would have called that guy out if he were anyone else here whose intent I got a bad vibe from. I just wanted to make a point that this guy came out of nowhere to throw some shade, and in the case of someone that I don't recognize, I don't know what his intent with that comment is.

Like I've said countless times before, I don't come in here to shit on anyone's tastes (at least not seriously). I come here to talk comics and have a good time. If what I'm doing is perceived as anything else, I apologize and I ask that you help me to improve.

Brah you know image.The paper quality is just ok. I've primarily switched over to digital because nobody is really blowing my mind in terms of paper quality anymore.

I only make an exemption if a variant really blows my mind. I'm digging the Low variant Messi showed me last night.

That's good to hear,, he will be at C2E2 next year im pretty excited about that.. really hope I can get some art work by him,, tried emailing him I know commissions will fill up fast IF he is doing them.

I can't buy all episodes of The Flash or iZombie in German on Maxdome, so I'm assuming the shows are not done yet. Either way, even with international deals (see e.g. How To Get Away With Murder) these shows usually don't appear simultaneously everywhere. Who even knows when Gotham is going to show up on German Netflix? That said, don't think they have an international/global deal on Flash/iZombie.
