Ugh, i bought comics and i feel terrible about it. I don't even have a witch mercy skin yet but i'm buying trades? This is like early voting for Trump before anything really damaging comes out and you regret it later.

Manhattan Projects OHC vol 2: for the eventual reread, already bought the flops but it was one of my favorites that i had to rebuy collected. Might do the same with East of West one day.

Man Doom Patrol #2 was pretty much just "Hey, Narez, you intepreted that book right, you're cool, we're tuned to the same weird frequency, it's all gonna be good and cool".

DC movies are plenty colorful. They're just colorful with a purpose, It's not the super gaudy TV movie color grading of the Marvel movie, and that's good.

Basically this. They're more muted in comparison to Marvel, but "colorless" is pretty demonstrably false, even if you strip away the more obvious hyperbole.

Really like Mera's look.

Suicide Squad has been a fantastic book since Rebirth. I love the small character examinations that Williams is doing in the first arc as backup stories.

Mera's costume is one of my favorite DCEU costumes so far. That's kind of a low bar but I really do like it, especially the crown.

My one major issue is those World of Warcraft shoulders. The color is fine.

It really screwed up Guardians of Infinity, I can tell ya that much. As much as I loved the backups in that book, the low page count for the main arc killed the momentum and made it drag.

Yea this is my fear. I mean, as a trade reader in a sense you could say it won't be a big deal, since ill have it all at the same time. Having to wait x amount of time for the trade and then get a shorter story than normal then have to wait again though, ehhh.

I never read Williams on manhunter but by all accounts he was a writer to watch afterwards so I thought this would be a lock but I dunno.

If I didn't like what we were getting so much I'd have a bigger problem with it. Everything has been great and funny but not much is actually happening yet. I haven't read todays issue yet but the last issue was basically some shooting with comedy thrown in with a little hint of more going on with Waller. I'll be interested in how it goes once the back stories change from pseudo origin stories.

I really enjoyed the first issue of Clone Conspiracy and I can't wait to get more.

Power Man and Iron Fist was really good.
