Yeah, I got into BMM a bit more quickly. Up to issue #5 in EoW and holy shit, this book is firing on all cylinders.

I mean, I understand it seemed shitty, but I literally had no idea who the guy was. I didn't read Fantastic Four pretty much at all until Hickman. Sure, pretty much anything on this forum can be answered via a Google search, but that doesn't facilitate conversation.

That was my guess when people started reacting the way they did. But man, I'd never heard of him so I don't know how it was assumed everyone knew who the guy was. He's not a huge name like a Brubaker or a Hickman. Especially for someone who wasn't paying attention to comics between 1996 and 2006.
Toradora is such a great show.

I dont know, He died around the time I started reading comics, but he seemed to be a really big name for a pencilist.

I didn't really pay attention to creators when I was a kid. And I wouldn't have been familiar with a guy doing Fantastic Four, either.

It's not so much that they're trying to get him to go down that route just because. It's about showing strength as a leader. You can generally only choose one. Either be strong, or liked. There are always going to be dissenters to any leadership, and showing leniency toward them will make you appear weak.
Pretty much.
Coates is doing a great job of showing to the reader what it takes to lead and how a great nation can be destroyed within.
lot of morally grey spots in each issue on both sides.

So I just finished reading War of the Green Lanterns and with
, I was wondering what comes next? Sounds like War of the Green Lanterns: Aftermath would be next, but the Amazon reviews don't seem to indicate that it's worth reading because it's just small side stories of the aftermath of the events that happened at the end of the War of the Green Lanterns.
