I'm with you. I'm still in for the non-origin arc for now, mainly because I love the Cheetah redesign. Origin story is the same old dog shit for what has to be the 50th time.

I've found the beta pretty enjoyable. Not the best map to showcase the game but I've enjoyed it. I've always been a Battlefield fan though.

I heard rush mode is better, but I didn't try it. I just don't enjoy getting killed constantly by camping pieces of shit.
Freez just sucks at the game so don't expect anything positive

I used to be a huge fan of Rush. Playing it with a few mates in Bad Company 2 was some of the most fun I've had in multiplayer. It didn't feel the same in BF3/4 so I don't have much hope for it is in this one either. I haven't played it much yet though.
Not a huge fan of the changes they've made to Conquest, but I'm still hopeful they'll iron a few of the problems out.

I think I've played about 15 hours of Deus Ex now and I still haven't did the first main objective once you're in the city. I keep just wondering around in vents and reading people's emails.
I cancelled my recore preorder because there's just no way I'll be done with the game any time soon. Got FH3 ordered for the end of the months, maybe be ready for that.

Man, I'm the exact opposite of you guys on WW. I'd put it up there in my top 3 of Rebirth right now and it's only gotten better each issue as it seems the two stories are stating to align in some way.

Can't believe they're 30FPS. Seems crazy to me. My last crappy laptop could run Asylum at least at 60. Maybe the Neo and Scorpio versions will have that.
Kinda sad there's no Origins either. It's not the masterpiece a lot of people claim it is, but I played it this year and enjoyed it much more than Knight at least. Getting it for free helped in fairness (I got Arkham Knight along with Witcher III with my GFX card, they gave me the entire Arkham series as compo for the PC port of AK).
Not much for me this winter. Gears 4, Dishonored 2, Shadow Warrior 2, South Park: The Fractured But Whole, CoD Infinite (for MW Remastered, well and Conor McGregor, you gotta support your own), Civ VI, Walking Dead: New Frontier and probably Titanfall 2. Whatever indies look good as well. This has been my favourite year for games in a long time though. The year could end today and I could put together a GOTY list that I'd be really happy with.
I'll also get the Bioshock and Skyrim remasters for free, so I'll give those a bash. Kinda disappointed they didn't do anything to Infinite on PC but it looks fairly spectacular as it is.
Notgreat at writing detailed thoughts on comics since I convey what I read through emotional words and ect

Imagine if the USA took a feudal japan approach where each major territory was governed by a ruling family but with Game of throne levels of fuckery. I liked the first volume, action and writing was on point.

Story got a whole lot better because we got more insight on Father Caryle's treatment of Forever through Flashbacks. Before the age of 10 she was trained to be a weapon. The breakthrough plot that hit me the most was the journey of the family to the lift. We saw them lose everything just so they could have a chance of a future. Very bittersweet ending.

What happens when you put all the families together in one place? This volume is my favorite because we see all the Lazari interact with each other and Hock try to woo the other families to his side. The trial by combat was awesome but sad because you know(friends). Biggest things to take away from this is open war is declared, Jonah might be out there, and Forever knows the truth.

So fucking good! Watching the war between Carlye and Hock go down is amazing. Johanna Caryle is cleaning up her trail and making power plays. Forever is a fucking tank.

One thing I'm always surprised by is how I see a lot of people outside of this forum ADORE the Rebirth Flash ongoing right now. From reading this board you'd think it's mediocre at best. I've only read the Rebirth issue so I can't say for myself.

I love the idea of it and it's been perfectly fine. It's just going absolutely nowhere and been a ridiculous slow burn. We're like 5-6 issues in and we just saw the villain? And it's not even like something like Batman is doing or how ASM did it with the Zodiac dude there is nothing to face in the book besides Godspeed and finding out who he is and we've known about him forever but we just finally saw him.
It just seems like a book that is struggling with the pacing.

Kind of off topic but does anyone here listen to iFanboy podcast? The sudden trend of shitty podcast patreons and something they've done has really annoyed me and I'm not even a patron of theirs.
Their shitty rewards are already a problem but then their first two podcasts with the rewards they already completely cheap out on two of the rewards. One reward is to have some kind of monthly Skype hangout with their patrons and the second is for the patrons to choose a book they talk about each week. The very first week they live stream their podcasts and say that counts as the first hangout and then the next week they say they were already going to talk about the book that was voted on so they just didn't go to the second voted book. They just basically say "haha you saved us time of reading another comic."
It probably wouldn't bother me too much normally but I listen to a shit ton of podcasts and the amount of patreons that have been popping up lately at the same time that all comedian podcasts seem to have a chip on their shoulders starting to build at the idea of their podcasts being free. It's all just sort of built up in to an annoyance to it overall and to not even act good on your patreon rewards just makes it that much more shitty.

The fact that every episode so far they have gone out of their way to point out how something they did or is doing counts as the patreon rewards just shows they know they're being shitty. You shouldn't have to explain to someone what their reward is. If you have to explain it, shit isn't a reward.
