You can say that again.
That muzzle flash casting shadows still looks lovely. And the environment interaction in general was mental for a game pushing this kind of visuals, tech and IQ, with its multiple level of destructions/damage to assets of all kinds mixed with physics and particles/volumetrics.. lots of efforts on belieavable and challenging AI as well for a truly unique and memorable mix.
What a game. A PC port/Remaster would make it immortal.

I mean it's hard to not feel some people truly fucked up their gaming career. Imagine not playing Killzone 2, Uncharted 2 and God of War 3 back to back at the time..

And the sound design and mix... on the Kuro + Home Theatre, there wasn't a single person whose head didn't explode when we were showcasing the game. Felt like you actually were at war in a believable, gritty future.

Just rewatching some of the old Killzone 2 videos reminded me that for the last few years nothing released in the shooter category has ecplised the gunplay of Killzone 2. What constitutes satisfying gunplay in my eyes is it should have excellent Weapon feedback - every bullet should feel...

Nah.. game-feel was entirely different once changed in the sequel and, for most people, for the worse. Game released after MW, nobody would have spent years on its MP if the game didn't feel amazing to play. Unique, but amazing.
