No idea what this is but Papoose has been garbage for years tho
That reminds me, I gotta text a friend and ask him why I can't find Nacirema Dream in stores or on Amazon mp3 yet...
Fucking lol

yo I love chappelle and everything he's done but the ja rule jokes are kind of lame I mean this isn't 9/11 and lil wayne is actually a figurr in hip hop. I dont mean dont mean dont make your jokes, but keep it in perspective.

I'm not sure why people think either story is lying.

I remember the first time my dad had a serious seizure. He was admitted to the hospital while sort of catatonic. They used sedatives to keep him asleep, although it wasn't an induced coma. He had to breathe through a mask. I don't remember if they actually intubated him. It took him about 10 or 12 hours to start to rouse or wake up at all, and after another 10-12 hours had passed he was awake and sort of talking. He would have been classed as critical when he was admitted, but within a day he was just in regular care.

So, like, what's the real difference here?

First time I had a seizure they kept me in the hospital for like six days. It's bad.

Nothing gets that street cred like almost dying.

I hope he doesn't die. If simply for the fact of hearing about how much of a legend he is and his music transcends time or something silly.

Maybe if he was shot or stabbed. Almost ODing is still almost. Now if he died, the record sales would be through the roof.

Kind of tangential, but Biggie's 2nd and final album released just a week or two after he died. The title of that album almost prophesied his death, but was the album title written before or after his death? I still don't know. Anyways, the album sales of Biggies posthumous release dropping so soon after his death probably helped sales of that album tremendously and cemented his legacy as one of the greatest of all time. However, I don't believe Weezy would be seen in the same light if he died just before the Carter V drops.

OD'ing on purple drank is not the stuff legends are built on.

That's actually debatable. Purple Drank influenced all of DJ Screw's material. Chopped and Screwed music is supposedly an interpretation of how music sounds while high on codine syrup. He created that entire genre under the influence of drank even though the over abuse of the substance ultimately took his life down the road.

God I miss Papoose. When I heard him rap the alphabet I was intrigued. When he told me his Flow as long as a hemorrhaging elephant I became a believer. But his Hip Hop police series was showed me his depth. Man now I gotta find my Kayslay CDs.
