Conflicting reports: Lil Wayne critical or doing fine. Sizzurp is still bad for you.

TMZ isn't usually wrong about things like this, are they?

This situation is too odd.

TMZ is usually very accurate with their reportings, they have spies fucking everywhere. They break stories like this all the fucking time, they must pay people really well. However thats not to say they haven't ever been wrong but in most cases its spot on.

Just check out:

For some of their first reportings

Lean is a drink that's basically a high dosage of sleeping medication

If you drink the right amount, you could fall asleep for 12 hours.

With Wayne working 24/7 I guess he just needed a nap and OD'd

So I guess Drake went there to ask his opinion on the Syracuse match in person huh.

I don't think it would hurt Wayne's cred if they'd just say that he had the seizure and that he was recovering. No big deal at all.

Well, I skimmed through a couple pages of the thread I still don't understand what is going on or if Wayne is alright and watching basketball or on his deathbed.

Guess that catches me up with the thread, right?

Syracuse played a few rounds in the hospital room while Wayne's posse was twitting him his last rites, this much is known.

from what i've heard he would be violating parole

seems like a good reason to lie and say he's fine

really how I thought the only reason rappers him included drank lean was because it wasn't considered a narcotic.... isn't it over the counter... I mean he cant smoke weed right isn't he on probation for years or something....

Codeine's a narcotic and isn't sold over the counter in the USA

The couch medicine he drinks is prescription?
I totally thought this was just abuse of something over the counter.

Still waiting on a pic

I'll bet right now that if he survives he'll be arrested on violation of parole within 5 months. No wonder his team is trying to keep all this shit under wraps and are upset TMZ exposed it.

I'm not sure why people think either story is lying.

I remember the first time my dad had a serious seizure. He was admitted to the hospital while sort of catatonic. They used sedatives to keep him asleep, although it wasn't an induced coma. He had to breathe through a mask. I don't remember if they actually intubated him. It took him about 10 or 12 hours to start to rouse or wake up at all, and after another 10-12 hours had passed he was awake and sort of talking. He would have been classed as critical when he was admitted, but within a day he was just in regular care.

So, like, what's the real difference here?

I don't know when the last time I saw Wayne sober was. He gave GOAT deposition tho

Honestly I thought he sobered up in rikers prison. He was probably no longer dependent on sizzurp when he was released but obviously he has gone back to his old habits. I would say this should be another wake up call for him but after listening to some of his earlier interviews regarding addiction potentially leading to his eventual death he comes off as indifferent.

Well, he's or was either breathing through tubes and in an induced coma or he's not. Two different label mates saying they're all sitting around watching two different basketball games and another random tweet saying that Lil Wayne's tweet didn't originate at the latitude/longitude of the hospital. Plus the potential violation of his parole as a reason they'd want to downplay the severity and the cause, which they obviously never specified. I don't doubt that there's overlap, and we know something went down, just the severity of it is what's in question.

TMZ has really dialed it back. Originally it was that he was having constant seizures so violent they required restraints, that he had to be put into an induced coma, that he was possibly intubated, being given last rites, everyone was in tears around his bed, and that his mom was on the way to make the call on pulling the plug.

Meanwhile YMCMB was saying that he was watching a basketball game.

Then TMZ really started slowly backing up.

Why do people keep saying this?

TMZ didn't back up anything outside of removing the last rites bit, which was done before Mack Maine even opened his mouth, or anyone else commented on the situation. All that stuff is STILL in the original article.

Jesus man... I mean I'm not a fan of him at all, but acting like you're glad someone is dying because you don't like their music? That's pretty fucking harsh.

Hope he gets better soon.

Weezy>>>Hov???

Hahahaha opinions and all that but people who believe this are fucking dumb.

Hov has numerous classic albums.

Please stop this fuckery.

If it makes you feel better, I have no idea who Hov is and I thought Lil Wayne was the "What? Yeaahhh! Okaaaaay!" guy. Shows what I know.

So is Lil Wayne's life in danger or was this BS?

They don't look like everything's ok. If Wayne was fine there would have been a pic by now.
