he actually puts in effort and doesn't just make one skin and put it on every gun like other creators.

I'm slowly ranking up, now GNmaster, and what i do everytime is tell myself "i need to get to gn2 before 40 wins", "i need to get to gn3 before 60 wins", etc. I wonder how many wins it will take me before i make it to a decent rank, soloqueueing.

It's best to just ignore ranks and focus on improving. It most likely ruins your enjoyment because if you're not winning your going to be worried about either deranking, or a loss making you have to win X amount of games more and that might put you over that goal.
Also, solo queue is shit so good luck. Even at eagle people don't even know what a smoke grenade is, I'm guessing at Nova people don't even know how to use WASD.

I also made goals for myself, I remember I wanted to get to MG by 50 and so on. Eventually, I got to DMG at 76 wins, but I've stopped now since I'm not really into comp. However, if you're soloq it really comes down to luck. There's only so much you can do, so it's just best to focus on improving. Honestly, I didn't even really notice the change in skill from Novas and MGs. Only thing I really noticed was better aim and that's about it. Players don't know smokes, have bad positioning, don't play the clock, and etc. Most of the time players are just like lets all just tec9 rush B!
So yeah, I'd just recommend focusing on your game and improving, then the rank will come naturally.
ENCORE got through which is surprising considering they have become a standard finnish team that changes its roster every two weeks.
The AUG weapon model bugs me with skins. The front of the gun will look nice, but the clip will then look low-quality and jarring in comparison.ayy lmao

Next few days should be interesting for me, when it comes to CS. I started playing around two months ago, living in DC. I'm moving back to Paris tomorrow. I wonder if the legend that the talent pool is higher in Europe at all ranks holds true. I fully expect communication to be a bitch, and to wish I only had American teammates...

I don't believe it. Yes, at the pro levels it's quite obvious EU>NA, however I believe this has more to do with the way EU treats esports in general. In NA, esports has a stigma and it's not seen as something of value, plus all the drama doesn't help.
However when it comes down to the average player base EU=NA.
