Curious to see how interested in the game GAF is, especially after the recent previews and getting close to release.
This is more about getting it at or near launch.

As long as the performance is good on PS5 Pro, I will be getting at launch.
What about you?

Waiting for reviews. I'm swamped with work and my kids in sports. My only gaming time right now goes to WoW and Hades 2. I want to pick it up once I get more time to sink into a game like this, but that will depend on Steam reviews for me.

Yes. I've been following this game for 6 years, I just feel compelled to dive in. Not the worst thing if it turns out to be bad. I'll already recoup the cost of the game in a day or two.

Yes. Pre-ordered. Always looked to be right up my alley, but with the Dragon's Dogma 2 Expansion being MIA, the thirst for it has become greater. Hoping it'll fill that void and then some.

I'm interested but waiting on reviews. It definitely comes off as one of those "too good to be true" type of games, even though I'm fully aware that we do get those once in a while that actually do manage to blow our socks off. I hope it's good and it's on my radar.

Yeah, I will. I won't be able to play it day one as I already have several other games I'm already trying to finish, but it's one of a few games releasing this year that are must plays for me

It looks interesting but I need to see how it all comes together as an actual game. Will wait for reviews and maybe watch a bit of it on Twitch first.

Well, finally found the one thing this game seems to be bad at.

Will see if the narrative is strong enough before I jump in.

I read this is from last year and there is a boss battle at the end of this quest so its not the full quest my bad

I need it for yesterday.

As i said elsewhere i want to believe.
Im tired of western UE5 slop i need a good and ambitious game in my life.
I wanna know what a good game is. I want it to show me. I wanna feel what a good game is. I know it can show me.

Not sure. Was pretty hyped after the initial reveal, but the more recent previews have definitely dampened that a bit. It looks pretty clunky which is a major strike against it for me. I'm very curious to see what people think after more time with it, and also will need to see how it looks and runs on PS5 Pro.

At the moment I'm having an absolute blast with Assassin's Creed Unity and I think that'll last me quite a while anyway, so I'm not in any rush.

Looks amazing, but I'll wait for reviews. And I don't want to double-dip so I'll see if a Switch 2 port is out of question or not

Hell yeah, day 1. An open-world fantasy game in which the main story isn't the focus, but rather doing stuff on your own, is just what I want and right up my alley. Hopefully it's not as disappointing as Dragon's Dogma 2 while still providing a similar style of combat and "adventure feels".

Not at launch since I have plenty of stuff to play already.
But I'm definitely interested in picking it up later this year assuming the word of mouth is good and it doesn't run like shit on Ps5.

I'll have to see. Seems like a lot of stuff you can do but I don't know I need more then that. What's the story about? Is it any good and worth completing?

Yes.

I might even double dip, digital on the ms store for the play anywhere and the disc version on ps5 for collection.

Yeah, I might even play with her. :messenger_smiling_hearts: But its a tough choice. Cliff looks fckn cool as well. Do the three chars have all different move sets and skills?

Is Zelda's?

I dont think the story is the draw

Its more like a dragons dogma 2 where the exploration of the world, combat etc is the draw I think

Story doesn't seem to be the focus here. I belive that in that sense, the game is closer to something like Zelda BOTW rather than The Witcher 3, for example. A sandbox to have adventures and quest on your own, rather than being carried by a narrative.

Yeah I believe the same, or at least that's the impression I get from what I've heard/read about the game.

I´ll wait for reviews. So far i´m not so sure all those elements they stuffed into the game will actually form something cohesive.

I'm feeling a bit wary since there's been little to no console footage shown and it's less than two weeks to release. I've got the PS5 deluxe edition pre-ordered and don't want to cancel since it looks sold out everywhere, so hopefully it turns out well.

Unsure.

It looks technically impressive but an RPG is going to come down to narrative for me and there's a huge chance it could flop on that front and end up being another Dragon's Dogma. Some players will click with that but I could just never get into an RPG that couldn't tell a story.
