Crimson Desert sells 3 million

I'm actually happy for them, I just hope they fix all the shit that's wrong with it.

No shot. Dragon's Dogmas combat and enemies are so much better than this game. This game has a better world, and that's about the beginning and end of it.
tbf Dragon Dogma combat is about 3 skills that you ll use for the entire game and thats it, this game has so many combat styles that you ll never bore yourself if you try new things.

and this is like the combat of the begging of the game.

Wrong beliefs versus reality. People who actually play the game say the opposite, which means that you are choosing to buy a narrative that reinforces your initial assumption instead of actually getting reliable info of what the game is like.
Incorrect. It was my own observation for years when the game was shown, which is why I said the game "looked like throw spaghetti at the wall the game", because to me, it did. I trust my instinct/opinion as much as I always have before anything else.

I also stated previously that originally I thought the game was strictly medieval/fantasy by the look of the earlier footage, and then when I saw all the futuristic stuff appearing it really turned me off. Again, just personal opinion.

If you enjoy it, that's fine, lol. I'm happy for you. Like I said, I'll likely check it out at some point out of curiosity when it's on sale.

You are orders or magnitude wrong. If any, Pearl abyss showed how barebones trashy designed DD2 was.

Does this game have any quests which can be started by just finding the event happening in the world or meeting a person who is part of the quest and they guide you to the quest giver/actual event, either by hint or outright telling you?

I skipped a good chunk of a quest I didn't even had started because I was able to find it's boss by exploring on my own.

Glad to see it's doing so well.

I'm not in love with it personally, but I'm glad to see a big, ambitious, new IP find success.
Yeah this, I personally have only played a little and I'm not crazy about it. But I have very old very strong open world fatigue.

Regardless, you gotta be happy about a new IP doing well, unless you only want the same sequels for the same old games every year.

Thats amazing news, it means those initial 2m sold copies announcement wasnt just one and done, 3m sales makes game definitely already profitable, maybe not huge success yet, that will defo come with future 4 and 5m sold copies achievments which are almost certain at this point :messenger_smiling_hearts:

Over $210 Million generated in a week. For a game that cost $120 Million to make. Every game sold from today on is now PURE PROFIT!!! Gotta love it. :)

They hit that hype just right huh. It's all timing and a little bit of luck can make even the most mediocre game sell a lot.
Don't think there's anything mediocre in the game. Well maybe the writting, but it's not like the game lacks reasons to be engaged outside of the story lol.

I like even the writing. Kliff is barely saying anything which makes him ridiculously likeable. And his whole gang of drunkard warriors is pretty authentically as well. The meta story about the Abyss and the witches etc is a bit confusing yet. But I think its normal that when you have a whole new story and IP...than you usually have to see the whole story first, before even making a judgement.

Hate all you want but AI probably could have been used for a better story. Ha!

Menstruating male gaming journalists can't stop actually good, fun games.

Deserved, meanwhile Marathon be like

So far I think game is quite amazing so sales are fully justified.

At some point hating the game becomes popular, we saw the same thing with Cyberpunk.
