Anyone have a good cover for Pokemon Y for 3ds? I picked up a used copy but it had no case and I'd like to make it look decent.
How's this? - (Full size here)

That'll be perfect! Thanks!
Very easy in fact. At the bare minimum using a template in the correct dimensions with some guides to indicate the spine is enough. Then finding suitable images for the front, back and spine and you'd have yourself a cover (albeit however basic). Many templates already have the platform logos and other elements you'd find on an official case so there's less work to be done in that regard.Any easy way to do this in CS6?
I agree with this generally. Box art has seen some really nice upticks over the past few years.Edit: A few publishers have stepped up their game with official box arts in my opinion too. Quite a few came out in the last couple years that I was perfectly fine with.
I kind of need to print this out. What kind of paper do you guys use?

Love the old school look of this game.

Thanks!Don't know the game but that is skillfull work!
Wow, where did you find that art?
I've wanted to make a nice Folklore appreciation thread, it'd make a gorgeous banner.
Thanks! Still curious where you got it, though.![]()
Here are two PSDs with the book cover art, I'll post them in the box cover art thread as well.
"NMS_book_cover_6.psd" requires additional steps for the final look but it's easier to work with (basically add Gaussian Blur with a 1.2 value, either by merging the text layers or making Smart Objects out of the groups and then adding Smart Filters or whatever, and then merging the entire image and making a copy and applying the Color Halftone filter, Max Radius 4px and shifting the layer Blending Mode to Soft Light and its opacity to 30%).
"NMS_book_cover_8.PSD" has all of the layers converted into Smart Objects with applied Smart Filters, but it's maybe a bit more annoying to work with since it's all Smart Objects within Smart Objects.

Seems to be a lack of xb1 covers around the internet, was thinking of maybe creating a few of my own. Is there a good template around, or a general tutorial on image size, dpi, etc?
Yeah I saw that page earlier and downloaded an xb1 template but I'm confused as to what to do. Do I fit the image within the boxart space in an image program and simply print it off?
That's fantastic. Suddenly I want VHS covers for all my games.Forgot the image itself.
