So after playing and doing a little more dissecting of the teaser, Rogers isn't playing what's in that Reddit tab. You can see him move from the B(7th fret E string) to the D(5th fret A string). And then on to the F# and E. It seems like Rogers is playing a more Rhythm part and then the more funky part is a 2nd guitar. There also seems to be some sort of 80's pop key stuff that just going to the chord progression. Then the bass line and then a normal piano that makes up the backing chord progression. Also, the first SNL ad sounds a little different than what we hear in the teaser.

What time is snl on? I've never watched it but I will tonight lol.

Wow a lot of good mixes already. Whatever the album will turn out like, it's already a good start in bringing a bit of freshness to my ears.

edit; wow I don't know who this Vanderway guy is, but his track "early" is great! If you like Daft Punk you should like this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZLr2CjHhlw
edit2: Or it's by L'ordre?
edit3: Ok it's a collective of artists and it's awesome!

Would anyone recommend me some songs by Daft Punk? I was recently introduced to them and I really like their music.

Just buy discovery and then listen from beginning to end. That album has such amazing flow. After that, just go from there. They have the Alive remix album that's really good and their other studio albums are great as well.

Check out all of Discovery since it has a similar vibe to the snippets of RAM and then checkout all of Alive 2007 for how hype it is.

Both groups are French. It's like required by law or something.

pretty sure Phoenix's guitarrist was in a band with both guy-manuel and thomas way back, that's why stuff like that happens

im not discarting it, but pulling the same trick seems weird for some reason

I obviously hope im wrong

Yeah, I think someone from Phoenix used to play with Daft Punk or something like that.

I'm not that big on Phoenix to be honest...but I've seen that video of them both on stage in New York. That was pretty great.

Before Daft Punk, Guy-Manuel and Thomas were in a band together with a guy from Phoenix called Darlin'. For some reason they split. Guy-Manuel and Thomas became Daft Punk while the other guy was joined by other dudes and formed Phoenix.

Man, this is my first time watching SNL and it's honestly one of the least funny shows I've ever seen. There are two episodes every Saturday?

Luckily for you (and me since I only have about a third of it), Discovery is only $2.99 from the Amazon MP3 Store or Google Play.

Just a heads up: Google Play is 320kbps, while Amazon is 256 kbps.

No, the episode at 10:00 PM is an edited down version of the previous week's episode. NBC recently started doing that because SNL gets better ratings than anything else they put on in that time slot. And the quality of the show can vary greatly week to week.

Finally heard the teaser... God I am so hyped for this album!

Can't wait to have a new Daft Punk album for the summer... It's been Too Long...

SNL is a weird show in that it's been on for decades and had so many different lineups. So it varies in quality.

At times over the years it's been the funniest show on television. Especially in the 80's and 90's. But I've heard it's been very average lately (haven't watched it in 4-5 years at least personally).

Oh, OK.

That Obama skit was already better than most of what they showed earlier tonight.

Last year was the best year I've ever seen in my 8 years of watching. Absolutely incredible. The Katy Perry episode was fantastic.

This year on the other hand, has been awful outside of last week's episode.

While you wait for the skit, you can check the thread I posted. Some awesome music I had never heard of before, I doubt you'll regret having a listen.

Seriously, if you like Daft Punk I'm pretty sure you'll like it too. A small collective from France.

Just sharing a find.
