I didn't say the movie didn't needed to be made. I have a similar view about the founders, who used war and death to justify independence despite the fact that eastern europe freed themselves without violence against the soviets. I don't hold opinions highly on people that use death to right a "wrong"

You do realize one of the reason the Civil War is held in such high regrades isn't just because it helped end slavery? The Americas splitting in two would have been disastrous and America wouldn't have been the country it is today. Maybe you should finish this semester (or at least this chapter you took a break from) before you comment on what should have been done.

After the civil war the US continued manifest destiny conquering the rest of the territory, started bulinding and overseas empire and now has launched multiple major wars. Were also the only country in the industrialized world not giving there citizens healthcare.


It's time for the US to end.
