Can anyone explain the
first flame ending
to me and what I accomplished in the game? I have not played the previous 2 games so it figures I didn't learn anything, but would still be fun to know what I progressed towards and achieved.

Holy shit, I made it to the
Dragon on High Wall of Lothric
and ran past him. I'm still such a beginner at Souls. It's taken me since Tuesday to get even that far, putting in a few hours each day.

So has anyone actually cleared the basement with the two
dragon salamanders in lower Anor Londo yet?

That shit seems actually impossible without a partner.

Avoid the mouth and try luring it out. Close ranged combat. Forget your shield, wear light armor and two hand your weapon.

Um, I need help, so I gave:

The firekeeper the eyes and declined her offer for a world without fire. Do I have to kill her? Since I declined, am I on the right track for the flame/good ending still?

Just got invaded by
Kirk
! I hope this means
his armour set is in the game, it was one of my favourites in DS1
.

This is a pretty nice area, it's like a whole mix of things from past games. It has a bit of Drangeic Castle, a bit of Latria, a bit of Sen's Fortress even with the bottom floor and abushes. The inside is more interesting than the outside gardens imo. Lots of fan-service enemies. It kind of reminds me of World 5 of Ghouls & Ghosts in an odd way.

Pyro build. What should I upgrade my Uchigatana to? Sharp, Crystal, Fire, Raw?

At 16 dex and 15 Int/Fth currently, going to level int/fth to 20+ before I touch dex again.

Also, have I missed any pyromancy tomes, found 2 for sorceries and 3 for miracles but only 1 for pyro which was
in the swamp with the crabs. Up to catacombs now.

You make that choice at the end. Killing her just locks you out of the option.

kill the dragon at archdragon peak
and i fell by mistake back to the beginning and i see the host completely
whiffed the dragon while jumping down
and i hear the scream as he died. dunno why but it was hilarious.

I just beat O
ceiros, the Consumed King

What a sad boss.

Because he's so damn easy. I swear, I got hit like one time.

It's weird, I'm finding the mobs are kicking my ass, but the bosses not so much. I've only killed four though, with the most attempts being the
giant tree son of a bitch
which took me five tries mostly because I didn't know what to do the first couple tries haha.

The
Road of Sacrifices
is the perfect example of this.

I died several times just fighting the various mobs, but
Crystal Sage
only took me two tries. Hell, it woulda been one try if I wasn't out of Flasks when I stumbled into its room.

Again though, this very well may change soon. Only four bosses in after all. But for now, Mobs are kicking my ass while the bosses are kinda chumps.

What's the shortest amount of time between OT1 and OT2? Kinda curious. This was awfully quick.

I think this crown may have gone to Destiny.

Bosses were straight easy and then I hit the P
ontiff
and he's fucking impossible lol

Bring a 100% shield like dragon and block his attacks, this will give you time to retort. You need to be able to roll quickly, can use grass for stamina region. A weapon with medium or better reach will help a lot when you start seeing double...

I think I am just moving forward without really grasping anything. I
just lit the three fires and opened that door in the poison swamp area. I am only level 25 (is that too low for where I am?) and have no magic. Where do you get magic? Feel like I missed a shit ton of things and am playing this game entirely wrong.
Anybody? :(

It'll change after the first Lord of Cinder. Although the boss after that
is a trick boss

Server woes are kind of getting me down. Takes me an eternity to summon anyone, but when I invade the host seems to have always found two phantoms somewhere. It also seems to be impossible to be summoned for the covenants that are auto-summon. Hopefully they get it ironed out soon.

Thanks, guys. I don't think I've found it yet though. Still fairly early into the game (just opened the g
ate
in the s
wamp
).

It's somewhere in the cathedral where you fight Deacons of the deep if you've gotten there yet. Regardless, you're close to being able to.

Bloodborne also got leaked/Street broken like a week before release, so there was the pre-OT thread that went by quickly of people streaming.

Okay so Questions:

1. Farron Greatsword or Wolf Knight? And are either of them actually good weapons overall, or will they not beat out normal shit like a good old fashioned claymore?

2. Speaking of Claymore, I was going to dump it for Dark Sword, but two things happened, one the Claymore was buffed, and two I actually got the Dark Sword, realized I have to pump two more dex just to use it and realized I missed having a sheath on my back for aesthetic purposes. So, as for the question, is the Dark Sword really that much better than a Claymore that I should jump to it?

3. Speaking of back sheaths, any other good weapons with a cool sheath? I got the Executioners greatsword, but I'm not sure if it is worth it to upgrade over the Claymore...

4. I just beat the A
byss
W
atchers
. Should I just put the thing on the throne in Firelink immediately? Or is there any reason I should hold off?

Any suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated (all the weapon questions are for PvE only fyi)

This is pretty crazy. I spent probably 20 tries trying to kill
Aldrich
, but I beat
The Dancer
in my first try. I guess this is just the nature of Souls, where different bosses target different playstyles.

Anyone having trouble with
The Dancer boss
, seriously, just stick to its butt and strike in between attacks. Was quite easy.

Haha yeah. I didn't have that much free time. And when I did, I played while I could instead of checking the thread.

Yeah, I just like talking to you guys :3
And, you know, find school depressing so helping in thread takes my mind off things.

Whoa, I made it. I don't think I ever made it to the wall of shame before.

tbf I made it like 30 cause thats what my screen went to roughly, walls of shame are what, 20 norm? Whoops >_>

She'd respawn just without the eyes you gave her, or that's what he'd dialogue implies.

She drops them on death, think of it like an on off switch
