Darkest Dungeon | “The Road” of dungeon crawlers, on Kickstarter, GAFfer-made

Backed for the art book. Heard about this a while back when they did an interview with RPGfan and been really looking forward to it since.

I'd be quite content if it will hit the $200k goal. The rest of the stretch goals from there on, while welcomed, aren't as much as appealing to me.

$200k looks also in the realm of feasibility.
$400-500k will require an extremely serious influx.
What are you waiting for? :D
Basically everything up to 200K is great, and then I also like the sound of the town events stretch goal. The other stuff, I don't mind if it's not added

Yup. It doesn't help that the first stretch goal after the $200k bar is character color customization at $250k. It might look a bit silly too.

wow talk about wearing your inspirations on your sleeve.

looks great. backed.

I can't promise anything, but I ported the game over to SDL2 a couple weeks ago and I have a Brix Pro sitting on my desk just waiting for me to figure out which distro I should be installing on it. I guess Ubuntu 3.10 is what I want? What distro has the best font rendering?

Question, since there are already going to be (judging by how many people pledged high) a zillion custom Heroes, are Heroes different from Class? Such as, are there maybe a few different Crusaders wandering around at any given point and the game just rolls to see which one stumbles into town?

Will back, looks fantastic.

I'm a little disappointed by the lack of creativity in the character design though. To me, a few of the characters look like drawings of dark souls characters. Especially considering how much I love the art direction.

The art style reminds me of Disciples 2, and for anyone who's played that game that is a hell of a compliment. Great job with the art.

Congratulations, Darkest Dungeon is now funded – the campaign just reached its base goal of $75,000 in less than 24h.
On to the stretch goals!

This is great, hope they can hit the 350,000$ stretch goal for the town events and story told via cinematics like the ones in the trailers. 200,000$ would be alright tough.

Looks great and stretch goals dedicated to improving the game rather than BS console ports? Im in.

Edit: Oh, high-tier exclusive class, im not backing this.

I mentioned in the comments there about the stretch goals/Town Events vs Color Customization, and I'm not the only who feels that way, so we'll see. Maybe the devs will switch the goals up. I know the developers of Dex restructured their stretch goals mid-campaign because of feedback
