Seems like they want to make him younger in the comics and portray them how they THINK the Jesse Eisenberg version will be. However I highly doubt movie version will be anything like this and hopefully will be more like the businessman/scientist version particularly since their was a LexCorp truck in the first movie.
Not a big fan of this Static/Virgil Hawkins redesign.
Businessman Lex Luthor is what he SHOULD look like.
The Animated series and 80s-90s comics got it 100% right
this is Lex:

Why fuck with such an iconic look?
Could you imagine having a job trying to please comic book fans.
I liked John Byrne's rich Lex Luthor more than I did genius Lex Luthor.
Remember? Genius Lex Luthor was pissed because Superman made him bald. Invent some Minoxidil there, brainiac.
is this the 90s?
He looks like a flying dope dealer

I...just can't anymore.
Even Gambit hung up the trench coat
Honestly, if you can't stand dumb shit, just don't read comics, I know I don't.
And just last thread, people were celebrating how DC now is free to be more creative.
Well lets take look at some of the comics coming out lately/coming soon:

-Divergence pic which may or may not be from issue 41 of Batman goes here-
Robats is more 80's than 90's.
Also, Gambit thanks for posting a page from a comic that isn't out yet.
The reason why these characters have stay relevant for so long is because of all the different interpretations throughout the years. If Lex stayed the same all the time I don't think the character would've stayed relevant for 75+ years.Businessman Lex Luthor is what he SHOULD look like.

But obviously you have no idea at all.
Only good Lex Luthor

Fucking Superman's cousin burned hotter than Kryptonite

2/3 of those are deliberately self-aware, and the last is Rob Liefeld.
Think that's from the preview, actually, which I think they had done special, rather than just being an excerpt from the actual issue.
Those previews for FCBD are excerpts from #41.
Would you really reveal who is in the suit when not every one goes to FCBD?

"Edgy", "no colors", "no fun" and "snyder" are the favorite words of marvelgaf, it's amazing really. If that's edgy then Simple Plan must be the Sex Pistols of their generation
Huh, didn't know that. Thought they were custom like the rest of their previews. I'll take it out of my post.

FCBD were not excerpts from #41. They were short stories.
A first look at upcoming storylines! DC Comics: Divergence features three 8-page previews for the June releases of Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo's Batman, as well as Geoff Johns and Jason Fabok's launch of the "Darkseid War" within Justice League featuring the biggest villains in the DCU - Darkseid and the Anti-Monitor, and Gene Luen Yang's DC Comics debut with celebrated artist John Romita, Jr on Superman.
"Edgy", "no colors", "no fun" and "snyder" are the favorite words of marvelgaf, it's amazing really.
I was under the impression they were previews for the June releases.
Is this mid-life crisis, trying too hard to be hip, Lex Luthor?
He looks like a Static Shock character now...

The color scheme is what wrecks them. I get why they do it (purple and green to contrast Superman's red and blue), but they've never quite been able to make it work.People hated business Lex when it happened. People hate Lex with a full head of hair. People hate most of the battlesuits.

Nothing to see here.
Green and purple... he must admire Joker.
