Part of the reason why you see so few punishes on my viods online is because nobody knows how to fight Ayane :( Some people punish my ass all the time I'll try to show a video where somebody does do it. I will admit I probably don't see the lag as much as you do due to play style. Personally I beat a Rig because he never knew how to fight Ayane and he kept mashing due to the netcode. But if he never mashed so much he'd have beat my ass.:p

I think all fighting games have ass net code due to two things they are built on Japan net and the US net will be shit for atleast 15 years unless a president pulls a FDR on people because the market is retarded politics is chicken shit and you can't rely on the infrastructure to improve unless something forces it to get fixed.

I know I'm really LTTP here but yeah, this games online is incredibly disappointing. I have barely any matches played in this game since I don't feel like putting up with the poor netcode most of the time. Most of my matches played are just against people on my friend's list or from here. It sucks since it keeps me from really improving at all in this game, which I need to do if I want to avoid going 0-2 again.

Well the netcode is obviously not great; the biggest issue I have is a lack of players and variety of characters: ninjas, Christie, Alpha that encompasses ~90% of my matches.

So unless someone from Gaf plays that character and I have some semblance of the possibilities I am at such a disadvantage because of unfamiliarity. I do not know what their exact weight class is and what that will allow me to do because I never see them played. If you never see the character played why go into the lab to figure out your BnB juggles and combos against them.

There aren't that many weight classes in the game. Super Light Weight (Alpha), Light Weight, normal, and heavy. Just look up an example of each character (Alpha 152, Kasumi/Ayane, Tina, Bass respectively), and practice on them.

There are far more weight classes than that try to do the same juggle on Tina that you do on Bass and watch the drop, Rachel has your own juggles you need to perform to maximize. The hit boxes vary as well so even if they are in the same exact weight class your juggle may have to have different timing or such.

No, there aren't. Rachel and Bass are the same weight class. Tina is a different weight class than Bass, so the same juggles don't work...which is what I just said. Tina is normal, Rachel and Bass are heavy.

I have no idea what you're talking about with hitboxes. I've never had any issue. Juggles that work on a specific weight class work on everybody in that weight class. This isn't Blazblue.

Edit: Apparently I'm wrong and there are 8 weight classes, but since I've never seen a difference between what I've stated, just going to go ahead and stand by it. I'd need an example of a juggle that works on, a "crusier" weight that doesn't work on the middle weights. Or one that works on Heavy that doesn't work on Super Heavy.

I was getting so much better but stopped playing because I've been tired or playing newer games. I lost some of the mobility I had before and my counter game is sucking hard for high and lows. I shall fix that after I'm done with Lords of Shadows 2.

Edit: When did they add these new ranks? I don't remember any patches extending the ranking system. Now there is Topaz, Emerald, and Ruby above U. I guess I must have missed this change somehow.

DOA5s netcode is dogshit. I've never seen a netcode improved so many times and still suck the dirtiest bag of shit in human history. Matchmaking is even worse and the ability to cancel matches in ranked and avoid previous opponents is flat out fucking stupid and abused to no end.

You borrow 4 characters from VF and not its godlike netcode and match making options.

Spend less time modeling titties for cheap 30 second soft core porn and more time just redoing online and resetting ranks.

Christie? I actually use her. Honestly, I think I only fought her online like 5 times since I owned DOA5 and DOA5: Ultimate. Extremely rare for me. I always fight Ayane, Kasumi, Ryu, Momiji....er yeah, the ninjas. So many ninja players. They must be top tier or something I guess. You know how most players are in these fighting games. Yeah, it can get annoying fighting the same characters over and over again.

I have no choice because i only have the core edition. guess that goes for a lot of players out there since core fighters has been downloaded over a million times i believe. So you are bound to meet a lot of ninja's and besides they always been the favorites same for the mishima's in tekken or the ryu and kens in street fighter. If i had a choice i would be using Kokoro.

Payed dlc is always a no go for me. Also the cheapest psn card is €20 so that is like half the price of the game. Might as wel wait and buy the full version.

Yeah, I encounter so many Mishimas and Hwoarangs in Tekken, so I guess it comes with the territory in fighting games. Yeah, I highly recommend acquiring the full version. I think the price dropped recently to $21.99 to my knowledge and the game is so worth every penny.

I would soo be on it if the game was €21. Sadly most shops sell it for €45 arround here and not even all have the game. When i look online i can find it arround €35 and on psn its €40. since i don't have a credit card can't order from America also prefer to support the local market. I do can find the og doa5 for €10 but i also am interested in momiji i once played her during an unlock week and kind of dig her. So defitnely be there when i can find a nice price.

Amazon has both of them listed as a "DLC" voucher, but Amazon does have a picture of the CD for the Xbox. I'm not really sure what to think about the Xbox one, but I'm not a fan of "DLC" soundtracks coming in the future.
