There's a higher chance of the Drifter being NXT champ at that date then those two breaking up.

It was a hell of a time for those two. Del Rio getting stabbed, him making up a million stories over how it happened, they got engaged, rumors came out Paige was some drug lord and he got stabbed to send a message.
