December Wrasslin' |OT| Dreaming of a Vanilla Christmas

Watching that Highspots Chris Hero 2016 retrospective while I work.

lol'd at Hero losing his bags before his match with Marty at Rev Pro, so ended up wearing gear from 7 different guys:

Size 15 boots from Big Damo (2 sizes too big)
Socks from Marty Scurll
Kneepads from Josh Bodom
Undertrunks and wristtape from Jay White
Ryan Smile's kneepads fit him as Elbowpads
One of Pete Dunne's singlets as trunks

This has sold me on it. Is it good?

One thing that looking back I have to give HHH credit for is with his injury instead of trying to wrestle the same style he did before he recognized that he had to change his style. Sure he was trying to clone Harley Race and Ric Flair and wasn't anywhere near as good as them but he changed because he wanted to continue wrestling.

Meanwhile people like Bryan and Angle when dealing with life threatening injuries wrestled even more dangerously. They could have extended their careers or quality of life by just making small changes.

Instead Bryan was doing suicide dives and working super stiff.

Hhh can do anything he wants because he's able to book himself.

early rumble prediction :

Goldberg wins, no suspense whatsoever, old-WrassleGAF cheers

Goldberg winning would probably have suspense because the entire time WrassleGAF would be waiting for Brock fuckery.

#SHOOT - I'd rather WWE bring back a bunch of legends/old-timers for the Royal Rumble and put them in the spots that usually go to low/mid carders.

If they allow the Rumble winner to pick the title they go after, my prediction is someone from Raw who hates the brand they're on is winning and goes to smackdown.

So....Sami Zayn wins the Rumble.

My early predictions for potential Royal Rumble winners are
  • Goldberg
  • Roman Reigns
  • John Cena
  • Finn Balor
  • Sami Zayn
It's almost certainly going to be a face character since both champs are currently heels

Which doesn't matter when you can just hotshot the belt onto literally anyone via the Elimination Chamber.

Best three bets will be Balor, Cena or Zayn for the left field winner. Balor is almost a lock though as it puts him right back where he was when he got injured.

wins the rumble. Battles

for the title.

WWE SIGNING UPDATES

Mickie James' WWE deal is said to be a three year contract.

Drew Gulak is 100% signed and sealed and is closing out his independents dates.

WWE is absolutely in signing mode right now. We are told that the company is working harder than ever to evaluate and watch the independent scene, to the point that WWE is now watching iPPVs and doing complete agent's reports on them (similar to reports WWE create for their own live events to track talents and how they are improving) so they can track talents from afar. I was told you can expect a lot of talent acquisitions in the first quarter of 2017.

WWE already has a new crop of talents set to report to the Performance Center on 1/3. Heidi Lovelace, Kimber Lee, Nixon Newell and Evie are all expected to be signed and reporting on that date.

Thinking Zayn has a chance at the Rumble is almost as stupid as NeoGAF Vince McMahon's bet

If WWE was going to pull the trigger on a genuine surprise win, something they honestly haven't done in a long time, Zayn would be the perfect person to do it with especially with Kevin Owens holding the big title on Raw.

Which doesn't matter when you can just hotshot the belt onto literally anyone via the Elimination Chamber.

Honest question because I can't remember - when was the last time a World Title was actually dropped at Elimination Chamber? The last time I can remember is when HBK cost Undertaker the WHC before WrestleMania 26

when's the last time WWE pulled a surprise win?

also, stop. Zayn is my hometown boy and i'm sad for him but he's beyond repair and he's a low midcarder at best. His only option is to leave at this point

His promo with Mick recently says otherwise.

I'd say either ADR or Shaemus winning the rumble, since I don't remember either of them being really hyped up before that. Both those were surprises in bad ways.

I wonder if HHH is starting to relize that they fucking suck and creating talent and they are better of picking and signing guys.

Who was the last athlete/body builder they signed and trained that made it?

Sami has a slight chance of winning (and by slight I mean slight) but I can't see KO being champ by Mania. If anything KO's Mania match is gonna be Jericho.

KO is feuding with Jericho, without the belt, until Summerslam

Goldberg vs Roman is your Wrestlemania main event and you know it

My only prediction for the Rumble is that Tye comes out at 10.

Oh my god I actually want this

KO is feuding with Jericho, without the belt, until Summerslam

Goldberg vs Roman is your Wrestlemania main event and you know it

Who's winning the Rumble and who's getting the belt at some random match?

Also, could you imagine how fucking over Goldberg would be if he and Roman were the final two in the Rumble?

If you think Goldberg's winning the rumble, you're crazy. Brock is there to eliminate him. His anger fuels their mania rematch. No need to put the title anywhere near him.
