I'm not surprised that Vince fucked it up. But I have to say I am surprised at just how thoroughly he fucked it up.

It's not as hard and fast a rule, but let's not pretend it still isn't a major factor. Nia Jax is a "monster" and that type of heel has always had leeway in that regard. As for the other women, and most other "progressive" things WWE has done, I'll believe it when I see someone like Heidi pushed on the main roster.

I don't know about that. The last time UFC were in Japan, they signed Rin Nakai, a "popular" fighter. She was undefeated prior to being in the UFC, but lost back to back fights after she debuted.
