I'd throw Dragon Gate faction names in there too, but theres are always so batshit that I don't know if they're amazing or awful.

Jingle All the Way is on and Big Show's part is coming up. Just realized now that WWE was probably too dumb to get him to reprise his role for the sequel.

Badass as fuck, love that.

El,patron won gold tonight

Was it a hot dog making contest or something? Tomato Sauce on a pole match? That would've been fun!

I definitely wouldn't be surprised if she was easily the top selling Diva when it comes to merch. She's got the cena wristbands, and the shirts are generally well designed as well. Not to mention she has probably the most TV time out of a lot of the women, so she's probably really impressionable on the younger girls.

I think she's probably up there because she caters to a demo that most of the top males don't. And honestly, most of the male stuff isn't unisex enough and for the most part they look like shit. A lot of Punk's stuff sold really well because it was just a great shirt that anyone could wear, really.
Yeah good point on the design of the stuff, just seems like they are sticking with her even through the Punk stuff because it's best for business.

Or maybe Vince just plum forgot they had a women's diva division.

I kind of want to do like an Atsushi Onita review project, but it's so hard to find his full matches, and it's even harder to find FMW matches that are in, at the very least, 480p quality. They do not have the preservation quality of an AJPW or NJPW which kind of adds to its allure. Watching FMW, especially old FMW, is like watching scummy murder porn for rich Japanese business men. You can feel the Yakuza on every corner, you can feel the debt, and it just feels so unsafe. Yet it's so spectacular in every way. It's not like some yard tards just putting on a show, it is an orchestration of violence and faux violence. It's almost like watching a hardcore opera.

In my crusade to hate on Luger at every opportunity, I feel like it's inspired me to want to try to find things to like about him. He's like my own personal underdog. I like the forearm with the gimmick, I like the torture rack, I like his WCW 2000 theme and his 5th WCW theme. But he's just so bad. I lose all interest as soon as he gets in the ring.

Yet, the hype for him in storylines is SO good. I don't know what it is, but when he's on his crusade to rack The Giant i'm like 'yeah Luger, rack that mother fucker' and I catch myself saying these positive things about Luger.

Elizabeth lost her luster because Kimberly was around. Everything about Kimberly was

Wonder if we'll get any NXT guys on Raw to promote the show on Thursday. Hoping for Balor, but if anyone it'll probably be Sami or Adrian, and that's cool too.

  • Satoru Sayama/Gran Hamada vs Baby Face/Perro Aguayo 4/13/80 Mexico City, Mexico

The US matches are completely skippable, either due to not being interesting, too short to be anything, or dog shit. There is a big surprise in the Tanahashi/Haas match that I won't spoil, though. Inoki/Bock was dope. Bock was just some no nonsense hard ass that spent the whole match punking Inoki out and making him look like shit. For like 45 minutes. Inoki/Singh was a big surprise because it is actually a wrestling match. I had no idea Singh could wrestle at all. Was expecting something like the Abby chop gif. The lucha tag was fun.

Best description I ever read about FMW's early years is it was a grotesque parody of the Pro Wrestling Vs Martial Arts feuds that were happening at the time.

Is CM Punk anything but a stunt booking for UFC?

He's a celebrity fighter, unproven in any company pro, unranked, amateur or whatever.

He's trained with some MMA fighters....yeah....but I've walked the track for some cardio, does that mean I'm joining the US Olympic track and field team?

I wish him the best of luck, but honestly I think he's going to get a wake-up call.
