I shit out this simplified version of the new Impact logo in about 15 or 20 minutes. Most of it was trying to clean up artifacts and stuff. It isn't perfect, there's a couple jagged spots where I had to add or remove from the main font and I didn't put too much effort into it beyond the initial idea of "get rid of all the extraneous unnecessary shit."
Too bad you didn't take out the Avenger's-style "A" while you were doing that, because according to my designer friend who looked at it, that was the most atrocious error in the design.
Let's not forget that his good buddy, Colton Cabaner, was worried Punk was going to drop the "N-Word" on his podcast.

I don't know how good you're imagining it, but pretty much all of AJ's matches from the G1 are at least "good." IIRC this was one of Naito's better matches from the tournament and i'm not even really into him, so, yeah probably
