Clear winner of this debate is Joe Biden. No one on stage is impressive in the least. That foreign policy segment was especially horrendous, from Hillary's defense of the Libyan operation to Webb's nonsense on the Iranian deal.

Your concern trolling outside of PoliGAF is kind of adorable.

I feel like if I'm watching this and I don't really know who Bernie Sanders is he just comes off as a crazy person who I don't have any reason to support. Like, why does he call himself a "socialist" and then bend over backwards talking about entrepreneurship and supporting "medium-sized businesses" and say he agrees with everyone else on the substance? And he's less liberal than Clinton on guns? Then he's basically characterizing himself as in agreement with Obama and Clinton on foreign policy. He's I guess a weird moderate who yells a lot? He is not doing a good job of introducing himself.

Tuning in late, but have they talked about Black Lives matter at all?

Hopefully they'll have a lot of time for that and income inequality later. This will be a horribly run debate if that doesn't happen.

Are they stuttering because it worked for Obama?

That makes them relatable.

Ok, Bernie is getting back on his feet. But he needs to go hard on Clinton. No one will hold him accountable if he does since she attacked already.

But still, he needed a decisive victory. He has stumbled as of now with a few moments of glory. I dont see a turn around for him.

The thing I'm really noticing is that everyone is really more or less thinking about their answers on their feet. Maybe Hillary less so, admittedly...

...but it's a big contrast to the Republican debates where they were super snappy soundbite after soundbite after soundbite. This is actually relatively substantive.

I would of never watched this before... but after the shit show that is the Republican party... I'm loving the middle man webb. It's almost like he's at the wrong debate. This is great for a indy moderate like me.

She doesn't want to impose a No Fly Zone for the same reason Obama doesn't: she doesn't want to start World War 3. But she pushes this no-substance fluff because it sounds like a reasonable response and she thinks the average American doesn't know better. And she is probably right.

Anderson Cooper needs to stop interrupting, by the way.

Wow...I am really impressed by this debate. Some lame remarks here and there, but really substantive...they really get into the issues, hypothetical scenarios, trying to distinguish themselves, talking about policy...

It's night and day from the republican debate, which was a literal comedy/reality show...shit flinging and who can say the most absurd shit...

Had I sent classified or potentially classified emails through private emails, I'd be in the unemployment line

And if you'd negotiated a nuclear treaty with Iran you'd be on trial for treason.

It's almost like people are different and have different situations
