This is where we need heroic strikes and a 3-man end game activity with matchmaking a la horde/firefight/PoE. There is no end game activity that tests gun skill currently which is sorely missing in a looter shooter about guns.

You can do this weeks Nightfall in about 15 minutes.

I'm with you on this. That's why I loved PoE and Heroic Strikes. Its bite sized Destiny gunplay goodness.

The nightfall this week has a fixed timer of 22 minutes for normal and 17 minutes for prestige difficulty. For normal if it's your first run put an hour aside for it to learn the encounters and possible restarts if you feel you've lost too much time in certain areas. It's not overly difficult and just spam grenades as the modifier is faster recharge.

I'm only missing 1 Hunter exotic, and it's the one I want the most. My last 3 exotics have been Dragon's Shadow, before that it was a bunch of Celestial Nighthawks and Young Ahamkara's Spine gauntlets.

I've been grinding public events almost everyday for exotics and I've been consistently let down. I don't mind the occasional repeat, but what ever happened to smart loot?

I think it's also so popular because Prosecutor is a trials weapon, it's harder to get. Uriel's is way more common to have.

with me its the exact opposite. prosecutor feels like trash compared to uriel's. reticle seems to jump around a lot more.

In the same boat. Have almost every armor set complete. They won't give me the Titan clothes. Just the helmet and one bond. The place Is so barren too. I'm hoping the DLC injects life back into the game.

Trials of the Nine was pretty the only thing left I wanted to work towards. I guess I'll do raid clears on my Hunter and Titan this week and that's it until November 3rd. I guess I should be glad I have time to get back to other games now.

Bungie can disable your inventory items. They were doing it in D1 with Trials cheaters. They can also selectively turn off your super powers for everyone.

They disabled Trials gear for people who cheated this week. You would think they would be able to do that with emotes too.
