After 90 minutes with it, I'm actually pretty impressed. I did the intro mission, one PvE strike and one Crucible.
Firstly, the tech is solid. The framerate and frametimes are good, performance details below. Controls feels precise, lag free and smooth. All in all a huge joy to watch and control for a fan of lag free, smooth FPS action. For references, and do not take this lightly, I did not feel like I was any less in control than in nuDOOM.
Secondly, while it certainly was nothing new on paper in terms of what I saw and experienced, it was impressive and all around enjoyable enough to get me pumped about getting the full game.
I was getting anywhere between 80fps and 144fps, with average perhaps around 95fps.

Game on SSD, observed no asset stream hitching what-so-ever. Only saw some from watching frametime graph, but in gameplay I never noticed.
