I cannot even...I had no idea the difference between PS4 and PC would be this huge. If the whole game and the patrol zones play as well as the first mission does I think this game is going to be huge in the PC market space.

Do you know if the values are based on 4:3 or 16:9? 105 16:9 is kind of meh (slightly better than Overwatch's max, slightly lower than CS:GO's default).

I don't know but it looks wide enough for me, no complaints.

I don't want to beg, but Amazon screwed me on the pre-order code and all of my friends are playing today except me (by this time tomorrow with open beta, they'll probably have finished the beta multiple times). If anyone has a PC code they aren't going to use today, I'd greatly appreciate it in a PM.

Hmm. With a 1080ti and 7700K, 4K@60fps isn't possible even with no AA and SSR and shadows at High (could try medium). Looks like sacrifices have to be made. Also I can't get 1440p. I just get an unsupported resolution message on my TV (which I don't get with other games at 1440p).
Only other issue is with the controller I'm using. Admittedly it's a DualShock 4 using DS4Windows but it works fine on other games. In this, however, there is definitely issue with turning and movement. I'll get an Xbox One controller soon so I'll see how it plays then.
Apart from that it's good. I mean it's very much like the Destiny I remember. In 4K it is rather pretty too. Just need to work out a few issues. If they can be fixed I'll be happy to get stuck in.

Yo! I talked to an Amazon chat guy for less than 5 minutes and he sent me a beta code, right there in the chat. Try it out!

With my 980ti and 2600k with the max setting I'm getting anywhere from 60-120fps. I think I've seen it dip to 58 on the inverted spire when you first instance in near that huge battle to the right.

Disable DS4Windows. The game natively supports Dualshock 4 with proper button icons.

1080p?

I'm wondering what I'll need to lock 60fps with the same build at 1440p

I tried this with multiple reps yesterday afternoon & both just told me to wait 24 hours lol. Just checked my email & still nothing. What exactly did you say?

This was like 30 minutes ago fwiw, only like 15 minutes after my order.

Said Hey man, I didn't receive my code with the preorder. He asked for the order number, I gave it to him. He said gimme 2 minutes...then just replied with the beta code, lol.

I keep losing connection when looking for the Speaker - guess it's the server load. Sadly the game boots you back to the start of the mission when you drop.

Anyone else having issues?

After 90 minutes with it, I'm actually pretty impressed. I did the intro mission, one PvE strike and one Crucible.

Firstly, the tech is solid. The framerate and frametimes are good, performance details below. Controls feels precise, lag free and smooth. All in all a huge joy to watch and control for a fan of lag free, smooth FPS action. For references, and do not take this lightly, I did not feel like I was any less in control than in nuDOOM.

Secondly, while it certainly was nothing new on paper in terms of what I saw and experienced, it was impressive and all around enjoyable enough to get me pumped about getting the full game.

I was getting anywhere between 80fps and 144fps, with average perhaps around 95fps.

1440p, Gsync
Everything maxed except AA on SMAA (MSAA halved framerates)
1080Ti OC
6700k @ 4.5
16G DDR4/2666
Game on SSD, observed no asset stream hitching what-so-ever. Only saw some from watching frametime graph, but in gameplay I never noticed.

I had to do 1080p because I couldn't get 1440p to work and then bumped to 200 percent resolution percentage with everything else maxed out.

Turned of msaa and put smaa, 60fps no issues with an i7 7600k and a 1080ti, with msaa it was 35 fps

Runs great at 1440p with highest settings and SMAA but jaggies are clearly visible. 4K with high settings almost steady 60fps with small dips.

Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.7GHz
GTX 1080 @ 2GHz, Memory @ 11GHz
16GB DDR4 @ 2667MHz

60fps makes a night and day difference to consoles. Day fucking one on PC.
