IB was good to me.

Titan: Helm, chest, and class item Purchased
Hunter: Helm and Chest Purchased
Sniper, Pistol purchased.

Two hammers dropped, sharded both as the one I was using has better perks
Mida dropped, sharded as I have one.


Still fun. I think that's the second time I've gotten an exotic in crucible.
First was PS4, this time was Xbone.

4 hours later. Still trying to get rank 4. Literally every game I play I end up on a losing team that has no sense of teamwork. Even if I get to rank 4 before 5am, I'm afraid I won't have enough Glimmer to even buy my helm. Bungie needs to fix matchmaking for PVP pronto.

What's the optimal roll for Jolder's? Just had one dropped. I just need one more win or bounty to hit rank 4 and I'm done.

Hello Destiny GAF!

It's been a while - I don't think I've posted here since OT5. After levelling up to 30 and getting loads of lovely weapons, the 30>32 exotic upgrade route just put me off Destiny. But I decided to go back again a couple of days ago and it's still fun (although absurdly grindy).

Do any of you kind folk have any tips on how to get to level 32? What should I do with my piles of pre-DLC exotics and legendaries? Should I wait until the House of Wolves hits before I get back into the grind?

Also, any kind folk fancy raiding at some point this week? I've done the Vault of Glass a few times a long time ago but never done Crota's End. Does anyone still do newbie friendly raids (I know Hawkian did a long time ago).

Right now, the only ways to get to 32 is with CE raid gear, or with Iron Banner gear, the latest of which is ending today.
You probably won't have the time / be lucky enough to collect those gear before HoW, so I would suggest you wait for it, since the upgrade paths will be way more open / easier.

Hey there!

The grind will be cut down considerably with HoW so I'd suggest you chill out at 30 for 2 weeks. Right now your only path to 32 is Crota's End, and that armor requires Radiant Shards which can be a hassle to grind for.

With HoW, vendor armor will be sold at 36 Light right off the bat so a full set will make you 32. Moreover, a new item which will drop on Nightfalls called Etheric Light will allow your VoG armor or HoW Vendor armor to go up to 42 Light for level 34.

Your best bet right now is to save up some marks so you can buy armor and get started on HoW at level 32 right away. Since NF and Dailies and CE are currently level 30 activities, I imagine they'll be bumped to 32 with HoW.

Max your marks and when HoW drops you can buy armor to 32 and be able to join the game again smoothly, at the required level for endgame activities with the rest of us :)

If you have maxed Exotics, even at 300/30 Light, they'll go up to 365/42 Light with HoW using only an Exotic Shard. Check out videos from PlanetDestiny or DattoDoesDestiny if you want more detailed explanations on what's changing.

And Hawkian still does newbie raids, alternating CE and VoG every week.

Only I was invisible and only started hitting him when he started kneeling. Watch the video, not the gif, gif was edited to size :p

He wasn't even agrro'ed on me from the first break because if that was the case he should have hit me on the left side, not turn around and smack me while I'm already invisible

It's just the lag-glitch bullshit patch that they implemented to prevent the disconnect cheese.

Saw something wierd happen guy got Crota enraged went invisible but as soon the guy swung the killing blows he got blasted back by some force while crota was kneeling and instantly died.

Anyone ever seen something like that before?

this IB was sooo good to me! got:

- 4 spears:
1st rolled void, unflinching, field scout, clown cartridge (8 in the mag max), and some good scopes
2nd rolled void, spray and play, perfect balance, field scout, firefly and some great scopes. this thing is a beast
3rd i ran out of motes before getting a good roll
4th standard one from the vendor
- timur's lash. plan on rerolling it for pve with a fast reload build and field scout
- hunter helm
- got one silimar's wrath as a drop. my first
- got one jolder's hammer as a drop. my second

:)
