What guns are used most? does Hawkmoon get used a lot?

On the Xbox it's predominantly Thorn, with a smattering of Last Word and Vex.

I liked the Halo gunplay where you had full movement while you were firing and no ADS... When did people decide ADS with restricted movement was better? Was it CoD4?

Yeah it sounds the same, but Hawkmoon is definitely in there.

I was surprised I didn't see Red Death used more than I did considering how often I come across it in crucible.

But it was certainly a handcannon show with some annoying ass vex thrown in for good measure

Yeah, I saw a lot of those. I've been rocking the MIDA I bought from Xur and did alright. Got me to level 5 and I generaly hate PvP. I found the MIDA quite satisfying in IB.

I have 2 Tlords and 2 Ghorns, and yet after a ton of VoGs and CEs I still don't have Fatebringer, Atheon's Epilogue, Fang of Yr Yut or Word of Crota. Nor have I been blessed with Hawkmoon.

Is Hawkmoon better than Thorn?

Thorn is more consistent as its a guaranteed 2 headshot kill. Coupled with its higher RoF, it's a very solid option.

Hawkmoon will normally be a 3 shot kill, but you'll get several 2 headshot kills in a given match even being luck based. The range on it is pretty crazy too, and as a subjective matter it has the best sights in the game for me.

I play much better with HM because I like targeting distant enemies. Thorn is different and I'm not as good with it but I'd wager it's on the same tier.

The Last Word is probably the objective best primary for PvP though. It's TTK is just silly. It plays very differently however and is what I feel we could consider a "skill weapon", with a very high technical ceiling for proficiency.

Last night I had my stupidest moment in the game, that had me laughing the whole time while doing it. Dust Palace - The Flayers - Punch Party. Happened by total accident, and I couldn't believe it worked / couldn't stop laughing while doing it. We then proceeded to do the exact same thing to the next 2 of them: Bubble, and punch them to death. Most efficent way to kill them? No. Most hilarious? Hell yes.

Titan Defenders are the freaking best. I can't wait to get the shield or DPS boost bubble. I finally got my first two light levels, then tried PvP for the first time and surprisingly didn't suck horribly at it. After months and months of hearing how awful this game is it sure is a hell of a lot of fun to play. Maybe it helps I got it at a discount. Are the expansions worth it at this point for a new player?

If you run Titan Defender and don't have a Saint 14 you're missing out. Sick of a spawn door throwing endless thrall or fallen at your feet? Just pop a bubble and they all get trapped in a confused bunch while you shotgun and punch.
