Love my Thorn and HM but, how come everyones last word kicks ass other than mine (obviously fully upgraded)

I ask the same question. Only way I can be as effective with it before the accuracy nerf is with Smart Drift, but the range drops to 3ft in front of me .

Nope and might as well get used to those being your only options. I've been wanting the SGA bounty again (have only done it once, pre TDB), and the last 15 or more exotic bounty options I've received have been for Thorn, Invective and Bad Juju. I've done each and even done Invective twice and juju 3 or 4 times during that time. Doesn't matter. Keep getting those same 3 as my options no matter what. Never changes.

But srsly, I have been shown the light with aggressive ballistics. I actually ADS with it quite a lot unless the enemy is RIGHT in front of me pretty much.
