Stuck with IRL stuff today. I want to avenge yesterday's terrible set of 7 games while only winning 1 (with the exception of the 1st team who clearly started lag switching after we went up 4-2 and everyone had red bars after)
Looted one of those, maybe I should try rerolling it then... ^^

Something must've clicked for me today because I was consistently getting top of the table in IB whereas I usually top out around middle of the pack. That or all the good players were busy running ToO. Definitely makes up for my shameful, dreadful performance yesterday in that GAF IB train.
I think I'm finally getting the hang of using TLW also. Certainly not close to expert level, but at least competent now.
And to top it off my first Matador 64 and Party Crasher +1 dropped. Re rolled the matador and got a near perfect roll.

It might have been Level 5 actually, it's fallen. It was the point the High Value target comes out. just painful.
I just asked the guys if anyone was actually enjoying it, and the consensus was No, so we binned it. Makes it worse that we can't actually go back and finish it off without going through the rest of it again. Effectively wasted our time, as we didn't get anything and didn't really enjoy it.

i hate pulse rifles. theres no rhythm to them - burst is too slow; reload is too slow. and most of them look weird and sound like nails on chalk.

Does anyone actually find POE 35 fun? I Fucking hate it. We got to round 4 today, spent an hour trying to kill stuff and just gave up. just wanted to actually do something fun, and not soul destroying.
I don't think POE is going to keep me playing Destiny, and that sucksI've tried so hard to like it, i just don't. It has been one of my favourite games ever, but there are so many issues with the game, it feels like they don't actually play the same game we do. Who would put something in a game like that and not have check points? It's either an over-site or a giant fuck you. And each is worrying for the future of the game.
I have been playing Iron Banner, and despite it's faults, i found myself actually having dare i say it... fun...
Only for the etheric light though..
I've done it once. Don't plan on ever doing it again. As you said, it's not fun, it's soul-destroying, and the rewards simply don't reflect that.
PoE 32 should drop an Etheric Light as well. It's bullshit that it doesn't.

My biggest issue is the sound. I guess they're going for some futuristic sound and feel but it lacks a real punch like the Battle Rifles from Halo.

The Skolas fight done legit is really fun. It brought back the closest feelings of a raid from all of the HoW content.
Passing off the essence and such makes for some tense moments. The solar burn made it easy with Gjallerhorns and void this week allowed you to do it legit without being killed instantly. Last week with arc was just ridiculous, everything is firing arc and you die in a second. It made the legit way almost impossible.
It isn't close to a raid boss but it's the only thing in all of HoW that comes close, same with some of the other bosses.
The issue is the poor reward drops. The elder cipher seems to be dropping more often now (I have one on all 3 characters now) but the elemental primary rewards are so low. In 7 Skolas clears I've seen 2 primaries drop. Once for me and once for a friend. That is ridiculously low.

well as soon as stupid variks summons me back so i can start the 3rd phase.
Kill target is around 4. Modifiers are Specialist and Juggler. I see you're a Titan - wear Saint 14. Seriously, it's really good for everything but this kind of thing in particular. If you don't have it, you're in luck because Xur is selling it this weekend.
The other thing: remember how Specialist works. Special weapons do extra damage, but Primary and Heavy do less. This means you'll be relying heavily on shotguns to kill pesky Captains and Vandal waves. Basically you wanna pop a Saint 14 bubble in front of the VIP spawn so he's blind out of the gate. Blind him and clean up mobs. Don't kill them all!
Next wave doesn't start until everything is dead. Take the time to make sure everyone is alive, has super (you'll need Bubble again), has Special ammo (Juggler will make it scarce) before the final wave. Rinse and repeat.
If you weren't having fun though, quitting is the smart thing to do. It's a game after all. As long as you can keep mobs blind (with Armor of Light you're basically immortal inside bubble too) and have good shotguns, it should go well
