This took me 4.5 hours
So much shit you get out of this loop
The Nexus loop caters to crypt/legendary/materials
The Loop does all that + you power level the shit out of your Marks for your factions

Finally found my first piece of Legendary gear

It's a nice looking gauntlet, and I won't upgrade it since it since it doesn't have the stats I want, but it gives a massive boost to my light level. Once I get my New Monarchy faction rank to level 2 sometime tomorrow, I'll buy the faction boots and armour, and hopefully that will push me over to light level 26. I just may be able to take part in the Raid tomorrow.

I mean no offense but I need to use you as an example to express this. The fact that this post exists is a testament to how SAD this loot system is. We have one guy singing praises for getting just one legendary loot, while I believe I've gotten 4, 2 each for weapon and armor equips. I remember where they showed the private demo and that boss dropped an exotic weapon. I've yet to get anything in terms of loot from a boss from playing this. The loot system makes absolutely no sense.

I haven't gotten a single piece of legendary since I have played. Nor have I seen anything except the glimmer increasing thingys drop from bosses. Meh.

Are people trading material to vendors for Crucible/Vanguard marks? Does the 100 mark limit only apply to marks earned in the field? Or are you unable to trade in material when you've hit the 100 mark limit for the week too?

Whats the deal with the whole Vanguard/Crucible marks being reset? Not really understanding. I dont lose my current Vanguard points accumulated right?

uh that's not how game studios work. They would not intentionally remove content from the launch game just to make money on a future expansion. If it's in the expansion then it clearly wasn't ready for launch.

Bungie was well aware about our concern pre-launch about a lack of content in Destiny. They do not want to get a low metacritic score; it's rumored that getting a high score would result in salary bonuses for them.

No, just the weekly cap is being reset so you can earn more.

Keeps players from getting all the gear super fast I guess.

There's a lot "missing" Kings Watch is still blocked off, never saw a dragon, Jovian Complex is still hidden, along with the Seraphim Vault. if this is "DLC" people may get pissed.

I had solo'd the level 28 version of the heroic weekly strike up to the last boss, got him to half life, and the servers went down. =/
