Soooo, Looking for folks who want to do Vault of Glass...

I'm a lvl 26 Warlock w/ 5 Legendarys.

I've cleared all content minus the nightfall strike which i will work on today.

Looking for members who are interested in bashing your head against this until its cleared for the epic lewts.
 
So anyone know how to fix the achievements not unlocking thing? I got 100 marks for the week in the crucible, but the achievement didn't unlock.

Best drop I've had since release is probably a shader. You guys with legendaries and exotics, I don't even know you but I hate all of you.

Achievements have been pretty weird so far. I had four I unlocked one day finally activate when launching the game the next day. Maybe the 100 marks one will kick in when the game week is over at 2am Pacific tonight?

You mean the progression bar in the menus? Those are for the Marks. You can earn a max of 100 of each type of Marks a week, but you can constantly earn Rep. The rep unlocks gear you can buy with the Marks at each level (Usually class items/emblems at level 1, armour at level 2, weapons at level 3.)
 
Wow, I am dumb. All this talk about Legendaries and it turns out I thought people were getting Exotics. Purple = Legendary, right?

Seemingly at random I got 2 yesterday in the span of 2 hours, gauntlets and a scout rifle. I imagine I will not be as lucky in the future (also, the gauntlets improve reload for scout rifle so double synergy lucky).

Also please be patient. Of course you can get lucky and get a purple or multiple ones in 20-30 minutes or so but it does take time to grind this out but it is very rewarding because not only do you get abunch of green/blue + chance of purple engrams.
But also you get so many that you can level up the cryptarch multiple times after maybe a 2-3 hour run depending.

Oh I see thanks. I thought you were given a prize or something oh well, 9 more to reach max this "week "
 
Anyone got some faction guidance? I'm level 20, only like 12 Light. Probably only playing Crucible from here on out. I have no clue which to pick (or when?).
 
Why are areas like Seraphim's Lair and Kings Guard still locked off in the final version? Do they plan on releasing these areas as DLC or something?

I thought for sure these areas were just blocked off for the beta/alpha. Weird.

Do the very first moon mission up until the point right after you see the mysterious strange hunter chick, and the doors of the temple open. Shoot all the hive dregs. let the other ones kill you. Rinse, repeat. I did about 1/2 an hour. Got about six blue engrams, and about 14 green. And about 3k Glimmer. Don't kill the knights or go inside the temple. Just stay exactly where it starts you out at after the cutscene. (you can back up or go closer to the door if you want, but there's no reason.) If you hear Dinklage's voice after the doors open, you killed the knights and your farm is pretty much over. Might as well go inside and kill the wizard and see if you get a drop at the end of the mission (I didn't)

I think once you have enough engrams collect them and without completing the mission, go into orbit. That way you can return to the mission at that exact point later if you want to keep farming without having to go through the rest of the mission to get there.
 
Wait, Hunters get cool cloaks with giant decals on them?

And my Warlock can only get little armbands that you can barely even see?

that and try are straight up op and have a win button... to me their super is the armor lock of this game... :/ and the defender sub is even more op....

I'm sitting at 91, but I have more than 750 rep points to go in order to reach level 2 Vanguard.
 
Once again, I just turned in a bunch of legendary engrams in and got green items. Then I got 1 more legendary engram from the postmaster and it's a armor...for a Titan and I'm a warlock-_-

This shit is ridiculous.

Start farming those patrol missions and get within about 300 and you'll get the rest with bounties tomorrow.
 
My biggest dissapointment with this game killed my motivation to play it further.

A legendary engram dropped, I was so hyped because it was my first one and it was for the head and I really needed a better Helmet.


So I encrypted it and it was some stupid Materials, that I dont need at all at the moment

The MARKS never get reset. It's just the cap. You can just stockpile marks forever, but only earn 100 per week.
 
Did the weekly nightfall strike with two friends who each got an exotic item/weapon while I got a legendary engram that shat out a blue weapon.

Fuck my life
 
So I farmed that sweet new moon spot for about an hour and got something like 12 blues and 2 purples. All turned into blues/greens except the last one. I got a Legendary chest which I ACTUALLY needed! It isnt an exotic, but I sure as hell won't complain. Oh and to top it off, I got enough Motes of Light to get the cape I wanted!
