It fucking blows because while I know I'm apparently piss lucky, I can't do the shit I want to do when I see others doing it just fine. I guess I'm envying the minority though. I'm still level 24 and just got my first legendary gear (a coat) because I bought it.

I heard there's a guaranteed Strange Coin from some gold chest quest. Which planet? I know it's not Earth. If I can get that one, and then do the weekly. I'll be able to buy the Sunbreakers if the merchant has them again.

Only need 55 more and I can buy the last piece of armor I'm planning to buy (i refuse to save up 120 marks for the helmet, and I already plan to get an exotic chest). I guess I'll leave my guy sitting on the moon for public events. Unless somebody recommends another planet for now I'll surf the web and do other shit I gotta do.

Funny enough I almost never use my sunbro extra resistance and grenade spam unless I know for a fact there are 2-3 enemies in a spot. And it isn't guaranteed kills.

I've actually been having better luck just running the Vanguard Strikes. I get at least 4 greens and 2 blues per Strike it seems. Still no Legendaries but I refuse to play the Strike before I actually level for it so I've still just been doing the level 20s. Got 22 last night so it's challenge-up time tonight.

I would be happy if they add any PvP modes with no radar. Since I only play FFA, that single annoyance is killing PvP for me right now.

Yeah I have no idea wtf they were thinking. An important element of war is the element of surprise. There is no surprise when people see you coming from a mile away! Even Halo had a no armor mode along with no shields

Blink is a bit OP in PvP. I mean people literally teleport making them far harder targets and you can blink behind people and back rage them easily

Do you guys think Xur will have different items or the same this weekend? I ask because I am going to buy a piece of Legendary gear but would be a bit miffed if Xur has it in Exotic as I have plenty of both Strange Coins and Motes of Light.

I'm Titan, and this past weekend he had Gauntlets.

My guess is that Xur will have all new gear from last week, and that each class's armor piece will be a different part of the body. This will probably continue until he eventually starts to offer past items again. Total speculation.

I missed out on the Titan gauntlet's by half an hour last time. So I went ahead and bought legendary gauntlets from the Titan Vanguard. I expect Xur's next Titan gear to be either a helm, chest or boots.

The devil walkers are piss easy to kill at least. IIRC the walker appears in the divide near the corridor to the mothyards, and the mothyard strike varies a little. I've had ones there that make your travel around the area, warsats etc

The divide one is definitely the easiest.

Yep. Join a game, just sit there and wait for the match to end. Free marks, rep, glimmer, and a chance at items. You have to get at least one assist. I just tested it.

At least they're doing it on Rumble and not screwing over a team.

I think so, because you don't have to do additional objectives at all, it's accessible from patrol. And you don't have to intentionally die and reload to the checkpoint. All the enemies you farm in Skywatch are in a cave, so it's like shooting fish in a barrel.
