speaking of killstreaks, has anyone ever gotten the trophy for killing one player of each class in one life? i've gotten 10 kill streaks and never has it popped up. Just super-bad luck or is it glitched?

I think it can be glitched, a friend and myself can't get it. I know for sure I killed each class and I also done it through a killstreak.

It has to be a Triple kill. I got it last night by Nova Bombing a flag zone in Control. There were 5 players in the zone and luckily all 3 classes were present.

oh goddamnit, they failed to mention this in the description...

this also means that my Hunter actually cant even get it. Warlocks and Titans can do it if they get lucky on a control point.

Got it pretty early on, honestly thought it was just for my first triple-kill. Played a lot of Control in the first few days, Fist of Havoc on CPs was beautiful. Now everyone knows the game and maps well enough that it's rare to get people clumped up on points

I have the trophy, guess you've had bad luck.



Auto-rifle, shotgun, melee, rocket launcher. I mostly use Shotgun + Melee, and switch to AR only when I have to. Ward of Dawn (the Defender Titan super, which is a bubble shield) and keeping an eye on the radar help a lot, by the way.

I wasted a shit ton of time farming for useless drops in too human as well. And somehow I don't remember myself getting as annoyed in that game. I'd say too human was more enjoyable on a looting front. It's probably just that cryptarch dude, I want him to be a boss in a raid at some point so I can kill that fucker as viciously as I can. I will spend the entire 30 second post mission countdown teabagging his face, after which I will reload the strike to do it again and again.

There's also the September content involving the Queen's orders.. perhaps a cheeky hub addition with a Strike/Raid?

I got it pretty early on(4th match I played I think?) so it definitely isn't bugged. Probably just been unlucky with what classes you've been against. xD

I got it. Did it with a blade dancer super. It's pretty hard to do, I think I got lucky.

Holy shit I completely forgot there were tripmines at one point in the game.

I can't believe how the social interaction is so horrible in this game when it should be the priority.

Huh good point. Of course the tutorial mission is better than any story mission and is much more of a strike than anything.

The strike playlist helps, but I find that half the time people leave if they dont like the strike mission. or just sit in the beginning and let the other two do the work.

But the high level stuff and heroics and all dont.

Where can I buy the vanguard's reputation cloak? Im a lvl 23 hunter and i just read on reddit that you can wear a special tabard from each faction that will give you more reputation than before.
Im going to Dead Orbit vendor but he doesnt sell me anything like that :/

No vanguard one, that is the rep you get normally from non pvp stuff. Wearing other reputation cloaks will turn that rep into their rep.

When I saw him being happy about getting a purple from leveling up the cryptarc I knew how that was going to end. I've gotten like 10 from that and the only one that turned into a legendary gave me a warlock bond. One of the ones you can buy with glimmer.

I SO know the feeling. Sigh. I went from 21 to 23 superfast, then had to get like three points of light to advance to 24th level. that took about 8 hours of gaming at least.

I have a Legendary Hand Cannon, so I'm tempted to go with Invective, but Thorn's piercing + dot sounds pretty amazing.

Anyone used either of them in PvP? Particularly curious if Invective is incredibly obnoxious... a full auto shotgun with regenerating ammo sounds like a bad time for other players.

Managed to obtain a legendary engram weapon while doing Moon patrol. Turned out to be a blue item >.> Anyway, reached Rank 2 with the FWC faction and finally got my first legendary gear. Gonna be interesting to see how long it would take for me to fully upgrade since I would need to get ascendents motes and those are mostly found in Raids

And I reached the third part of my exotic bounty: Get PvP kills with Void weapons. Only did two Rumble matches so far and I'm already at 102/500. For some reason, I had 39/500 after the first match where I went 18-13 which totally threw me off. I guess it doesn't matter now, but still kinda weird

So if it wasn't for the last minute Grimoire of Plot, would there even be a plot at all beyond:

Yeah I wonder if it's a little bugged too. When I first tried earning it it didn't unlock and I got a similar streak to you.
I wonder if you have to kill each type one after the other. I did unlock it recently and I wasn't really paying attention and I just got it. I read you needed to get a triple play trophy with each type, but I don't think I did when I unlocked it.
It seems for me you have to kill each type pretty quick though.
