How does matchmaking in PvP work? As someone that just hit 12 my team had a couple of people over 20 and a few below 7. Seems unfair to be killed by higher level and skilled/practiced people over and over.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't most PVP modes disable level distinction in terms of offense/defense?

sigh: jump into skirmish, two teammates quit and no one else gets put in. 3 vs 1 entire game.

What is this shit, I got 12 legendary engrams in total. Only 1 of them was legendary - my hand canon. Rest were Rares or materials. It's really annoying, who came up with this idea and thought it would add any value to the game? Oh well, at least I got chest from Warlock vendor.

Normal pvp is scaled so high level players don't have a stat advantage over lower level players.

But I agree that it seems unfair that there isn't a true skill type thing in place to have players play against similarly skilled players

Kind of a stupid question, but I joined the DestenyGAF clan, set it as my Xbox clan, but in game I dont have the tag, and I have no idea where to look for you guys. Nowhere in the game I see any clan or alliance activities...

Yeah, its not in game.

You can apply the tag to your character from the Bungie Site, but theres no Clan stuff in game really.

I think legendaries should be rare. I only got three in total in Borderlands 2 in over 200 hours, it makes them feel more special.

so it is sort of glitched? :D Some say you need to do a Triple Kill to get it, some say its random. 3 kills with the same weapon maybe? In quick succession but not really a Triple Kill? Planets need to be aligned and have a full moon?

It's a pretty fun shooter, but other than the grind it has very little long term merit. They MMO style trappings hurt it more than anything because frankly they're not done particularly well.

I'm also @20 and still using an AR, the gun vendor was selling the rare Shingen E version so I've been slowly upgrading that, haven't really had to compare stats yet as my upgrades are still pretty big leaps from the previous gear, what is the discipline stat about though?

There is an area underneath the Forgotten Shore called "Bunker RA-2". RA for "Rasputin"? I am pretty sure. It will probably open up in the expansion "Danger Below".

My purples have been a warlock and a hunter helmet (I am titan) and last night after spending 10k on engram boosting I got a scout rifle which apart from PvE power, not as good as my blue scout.

Rest have been blues and some craft materials, really frustrating. I probably got 4 from the postmaster and 3 I have found have been shitty misc costume purples.

Make purples more rare but allow them to be something in your class and not downgrade to blue when you do get one.

It's very much like you get given some purples for ranking up your engram rank only because the RNG system is so annoying and shit they need to balance out their mistake by giving you freebies to feel better.

Give it time. This game is not an end product like every reviewer would have the un-educated gaming masses to believe. I firmly believe this game is going to evolve into something big by the end of it's life cycle.

He also turn up on Mars I believe, "Oh Rasputin is here too now, he is everywhere"

I also find it amusing that the Russians would name ANYTHING Rasputin, I guess in the "far future" they decide he was a much nicer man than they currently think of him

So I think I came across a world event and it was kind of bullshit. We had less than 5 minutes to kill this boss before he escaped but even with 3 people pounding the shit out of him his shields just replenished so fast I think we took about 5% of his health off. The other 2 there were about 3 levels higher than it too. What the hell do you need to take one down? Just happen to have 10 people waiting for it?

No, absolutely none, my Cryptarch is at level 10 and still he decodes my Legendary Engrams into SHIT.

I want to know what's going on with the unused zones in old russia like the subway station, mobs are there but the door is still shut, they fixed the respawning trick to get in there... I am worried that it's locked until someone has DLC installed which is not nice, the area is there already I want to access it on my copy of the game without paying for access :/

i don't think anyone has a problem with them being rare, I think it has to do with getting a legendary engram (which isn't common) and then getting complete shit items out of it. why bother giving a reward if it sucks? It's bad design.

Exact same thing happened to us with a guy on the Moon, 4 people chasing and shooting, shields regenerating right away and we failed because he escaped.

Just did some bounties and a mote of light and the ship blueprint "The Fangs of Nyx" that's cool. Didn't know I could get stuff from handing in bounties. Haven't before.

Have a Titan pop a bubble shield and then just surround it and have everyone melee. He can't escape and you're basically invincible while meleeing inside that thing.

Haha I just picked them up, went to orbit and spent good 10min looking for them before realizing Salvage is gone and won't be up for another 5 days. The disappointathon continues.

So I'm curious, the Crucible quartermaster doesn't seem to have a stock refresh timer, and the gear he has all seems to be max for about crucible reputation 3...

Am I right in thinking that as the crucible reputation increases that the stats of what he sells also increases? Or Is it more accurate that once you reach crucible rep 3 that you are done with that vendor and should move onto the various cults?
