I think you get more material if you dismantle upgraded stuff, but I'm not sure how much more and if it's worth the effort to save uncommons and upgrade them before dismantling.

It's fine most of the day, then around 4pm when kiddies get home from school it starts with it's random disconnects every so often.

I'm 30 hours in, played around 70 PVP matches and tons of strikes and as yet not a single legendary or exotic. Gonna be stuck at level 24 for a while.
Fully upgraded it's not to shabby in PVE either. I've finished a few level 20, 22 and 24 strikes with it as my primary.
i dont quite agree with that, i got of those with increased stability and i was getting stomped out, maybe i just moved on to the Galahad.

I farmed the shit out of Shrine of Oryx last night for about 4 hours.
Made a bunch of glimmer and tons of Rare items, but no legendaries yet.
Are there any other good spots to do this?

Sorry for using your post for making a point, but situations like these is why Bungie needs to get of their MMO high horse and implement matchmaking into Raids.
Fuck, I have 53 friends on my list and I can't imagine getting 6 of us together at the same time. And even if that did happen, somebody would probably quit after some time.
We need matchmaking and ability to replace team members that quit/drop in the middle of the raid (call it "reinforcement system" or something like that).

Still level 21. Ain't getting shit. Also, getting tired of the bullshit whims of Lord God RNG in regards to pvp loot. I sometimes go 5+ matches with no loot at all. The cap to marks is also stupid. It'll take weeks to earn the gear that people have been getting equal versions and full sets of by farming trash mobs.

Stand in the city and dance, hoping to get invited? Randomly start targeting people, inspecting them then messaging them through PSN/XBL? Point at them till they invite you?
