That drop can't be infused? At least Frontier Shell has infuse option so LE/CE shell isn't pure waste.

On Tuesday you can start infusing it to higher level.

His red shell is drop from leveling, not LE/CE one.

I haven't seen any indication of infusing ghosts. Although I've never heard of a red ghost until now. Only seen blue and green.

Your relying on two drops. Husk dropping from a Hive Knight which you then need to level to Eidolon Ally. Eidolon then needs to be leveled up to the last node which will allow you to upgrade it to Necrochasm if you've obtained the Crux which drops from killing HM Crota.

Can be quite long winded if RNG doesn't smile kindly on you.

The husk of the pit drops from those sword bearing knights on earth right? Might go do an hours worth of farming or something.

Frontier Shell is exclusive to Collector's Edition / Limited Edition of Destiny. If you can find one as new/unopened, so codes aren't used, for bargain price it's your ticket for getting one of those babies.

Edit: Funny how they just took Frontier Shell, changed stripe color and called it a day

You can get a 170 defense cloak from Prison of Elders big chest. 160 cloak comes from the quest you complete for reaching level 30 I believe.
