For me they fall into the same category as fusion rifles at the moment... sure you can get some kills with them, but shotguns and snipers will always prevail.

Its shit. Still one of the best HC, but shit. Was my first TTK drop, but I vaulted it weeks ago.

Bought Nerwin's Mercy this morning but didn't have a chance to use it. Goal for tonight is to get back up to 90 marks, play IB for a bit. If I get lucky and get the sidearm drop, cool. But I will just buy it by the end of the night if not. These will be the first to ever IB weapons I've owned.

What time zone you in? Being on the East Coast. First thing in the morning before work is when I can get decent scores. It is how I managed my one and only top score for that IB bounty. All the tweaker teens are asleep or at school.

I'm on PST, so if I tried that the earliest I could get up to play is around 6 AM here, or 9 AM East Coast. Even if I wake up that early I could only play 2 games before heading out to work. Does IB end tonight, or is it on tomorrow too?

Certain maps I'll still use it and have success with it, usually close quarter maps.

The completely unneeded HC accuracy nerf ruined a lot of guns. All they had to do was cut range, but they also hit accuracy. Now it's RNG if bullets go where pointed.

They've been recently upgraded from useless to entertaining in my arsenal. Nothing more than a fun little weapon I'll use whenever I'm bored of using Shotgun or Sniping. I'll usually have to bring out the big guns for the extra sweaty teams lol

Yes it does. I had gotten the first brother down to 1% whiles using my shotgun and when I was reloading my teammate killed him with his primary. Had to run the strike again just to kill the first brother.

Base stats plus hidden secondary stats along with possible perks vs the legendary Havoc Pigeon...the Havoc Pigeon wins every time (IMO)... same silenced Hakke sidearm base weapon but with better stats... save for the horrible neon green/royal blue paint job. The IW-D looks MUCH better.

Other people in your party can do the killing blow with shotty without you doing almost anything with your own.
I have a feeling that there may also be something at play to make it less likely to fail, like a timer of some kind that as long as he gets shot with a shotgun in the last X amount of time, it is a shotgun kill.

Needless to say, it's still advised to try and get the final blow with a shotty if you can help it.

Reading the thread which was posted yesterday criticising the end game content, I'm experiencing some of that right now. Grinding strikes and veeeeery slowly approaching 280 Light. On top of that the limit on Legendary Marks every day means I've got a bunch of gear I want to upgrade/infuse which is limiting my progress too.

I just struggled through the bond brothers strike at 290, seemed way harder than that though. Had my shotgun out and used it on the brothers.. Didn't get credit for the shotgun kill quest for Chaperone. What gives?

last hit needs to be shotty. heard Nami say you should also get some hits in but anyone in fireteam can kill them off with shotty and you'll get credit. always safest to have all three guys use shotty on them no matter what.
