This weekend I will play a few games of IB, as a farewell to D1. It's bittersweet. I'm sad because D1 had so many memories. I only wished they had put more effort into updating/patching it in years 2 and 3.

Is anyone able to drop a new discord invite? Been on Destiny since the damn Alpha and it only feels right to be on IB this weekend whilst gaff'n it up.

This - going to double dip. There's pretty much no way there can be a new Destiny and I wait to play it. If it was a few days or a week, perhaps. But over a month, that's too long.

Destiny 2 is surprisingly small compared to the first game in size. "Only" 29 GB. The first game was more than 10 GB bigger.

I noticed that too on my Xbox install, didn't they say the base game was already more than all of Destiny combined a few months ago? I could of swore they said it was like 60-75gb for D2 just to start

Just looked to see what discord was, yes I know,😲,😁. Anyway, are you guys using it for in game voice or is it just another place for DGaF to hang out and chat? I thought PS4's party chat has worked great??? If it is just another social gathering place for DGaF, I wouldn't mind an invite. If it is for in-game chat/voice, I don't really care in that regard.

They said that Destiny 2 base game is bigger than Destiny 1 with all the expansions. Yet it is more than 10 GB smaller. I don't know why. Better compression?

PVP now will be 4.1 v 4.1 players. Your ghost will pew pew when you use your super.

While playing WoM on Heroic last night with a group I regularly raid with, I suddenly wondered how anyone could expect raids to work with public matchmaking. It's hard enough to communicate some of the mechanics of the raids with groups using mic let alone randoms put together with different skill levels who may or may not have mics at all.

I kinda want it to happen but with spectator mode. I want to see the shit show.

The part that made me think of it was Phase 2 Aksis with empowerment... Imagine trying to get someone empowered on each side with a group not using mic. Ugh.

Even much more basic stuff like who goes where and does what in each encounter.

Would definitely be entertaining for a spectator although I think I might just get second hand frustration.

So I'm currently at 320 light level and I've never seen a purple engram drop. Is there any point where I should expect to get them or are they just super rare/only in raids/etc.?

I've noticed actual purple engrams in the wild are next to non-existent. Since Rise of Iron released and they went to the 'strike key' economy i can't remember the last time i got one just from a random enemy either.
