2nd or 3rd time now, facing someone in pvp who I swear is glitching or something. He is shotgun/meleeing but warping a solid 5 ft. Not a hunter, not using blink. Thinking latency.

I like the idea. Personally, I've left Raid GAF because I don't actually need it to find a party for normal raid (it's more convenient to search on GAF itself), and the clan chat/forum is spammed with badly-written resquests, like: "lfg group for VoG, lv 27 hunter on PS4".

I mean, come on, reading messages like this won't convince me to play with you for extended periods of time. Not to mention a lot of the requests aren't for the raid but for Nightfall, Heroic strikes and so on. There was just too much noise.

Also, clans are fucking useless in-game, thanks to Bungie.

Forcing me to use void damage would cause me to step outside my comfort zone. Making me also need to be good at the same time is silly.

Does the Queen's bounty only give armor when you do the story mission or can it drop weapons for you. I have about 5 queued up and was wondering if I should even bother if all I'm gonna get is some more armor.

It should also have a possibility to drop a sniper and ship.

Any up for a Lvl. 26 Strike? I need to beat the Summoning Pits strike on Mars to finish my Legendary weapon bounty. I can get halfway through by myself before I get stuck.

Just completed my first raid. God damn, what a rush. Took us under 2 hours with about 2 or 3 people who hadn't done it before including me. So a pretty great time all around. I can't believe just how much better it is than everything else in the game haha.

Got a great haul for my first time through:
Raid boots
Raid Warlock bond
Vengeance sniper
Patience & Time exotic sniper
A fuck load of shards.

Shoutout to Grizz for organizing the whole thing!
 
Hello all :)
I have never completed a raid before and finally hit 27 and was hoping there would be anyone willing to teach me the ropes this evening. I will be on at 915 pst that is when the wife and babies go to sleep. I have a mic and am not an asshole and willing to listen and learn.

So I officially have problems: decided to take a romantic evening shower with my woman, but when I was in there all I could think about was how frustrated I will be if I don't get anymore raid armor on Tuesday :( Is what people with MMO addictions do? Am I already dead?

Needless to say, Destiny is taking over my mind and may need to start pulling back.
 
Anyway again tonight I am looking for a raid group. Been in a few this week that all seem to disband right before the last part. Would like to finish it before the reset. Please shoot me an invite PSN:Rsin

If you haven't filled your third slot, make an alt of the same class and you can raid 2x in a week.
Never pull back, son.

I never made any extra characters yet; I should do it, but just been putting it off. Seems like I always want to do something on my main, whether it's PVP or PVE. I have everything I want except raid chest and boots.

I hate how Bungie decided to totally separate everything but weapons and glimmers. Getting an alternative character and upgrading it's gear is such a chore. Need to get reputaiton up, plate/essence/hunter thingies up too to spend on armor upgrades... I play the game all day and yet I still feel I don't have enough time

it's okay. I haven't focused on upgrading it much because I'm getting more enjoyable Legendary weapons (Cryptic Dragon, Shadow Price). It's a damn powerful gun for those moments when you're swarmed by enemies
