firex said:mana, I hope you can keep us informed on the class progression. It sounds pretty fun to be honest, and hopefully actually impacts gameplay significantly. plus it's the biggest draw to me of the game.
firex said:the main thing for me is if the game is the same tedious fucking awful grind treadmill the original was, or if it's actually fun to play beyond the token exploring a fantasy world.
Dicked around in the Thundering Steppes today

mumu said:The one thing that always troubles me with MMORPGs is that the fighting animation (or fights in general) always looks so incredibly bad.
Norse said:First, people that claim EQ II would suck because they rushed it out the door to beat WoW are totally wrong. In playing both games at this time, it is definately WoW that may be "rushed". EQ II is (seems) much further along than WoW does at the moment. Hense you can buy it at the store.
Secondly, that 500,000 testers someone spoke of earlier....I bet 99% of them are still d/ling files with bit torrent. Where did that idea come from, Blizzard? You best not do that if I buy your game.
4 chars per account? You sure it's not per server?

Why in the hell is that guy wearing sunglasses?

signet said:Just hit lvl 20 last night, I am now a Paladin. Here is a pic of my Holy Steed! I went with the Carbonite Armor, going to replace it all with the lvl 20 quest armor anyway so no reason to spend the extra money.
PS: sorry for the lower quality graphics, I turned down something to increase speed in crowded areas.

ManaByte said:Do you get the Holy Steed at 20?
signet said:Yes, but you have to buy it from your trainer for about 14sp.
ManaByte said:That's IT? Only 14sp? Damn. I have 1100sp just from ONE guild status quest and I'll be finishing up two more tonight after our guild BBQ today.
shoplifter said:What the hell writ give you over a gold? It is one of the lv. 6 ones, or is it in loot from multiple runs of the other ones?
I'm trying to organize a bunch of us to do a shit ton of writs tonight since it's the only way we'll get lv 6. People don't like to do them because you get no xp eventually, so we're hoping that by getting the next set it'll be easier to get folks onboard.
MrAngryFace said:How ya doing in DAoC Mana? Im just getting into battlegrounds with my druid. Sylvans rock.
nubbe said:I think you guys are confusing Status Points with Silver Pieces...
ManaByte said:signet, where does the Paladin quest start in Qeynos? I want to get started on it as soon as possible.
signet said:Sorry took me so long to see this but I have been busy (EQ2/DS). At 19 you will get an auto quest that tells you to go see a guy near the NQ Castle gates. That's starts the Path of the Paladin quest. You then have to kill 25 gnolls that pose a challenge (Green Sabertooth Battles around the bells will do). Then you have to rescue some people in a instatent solo zone. Just kill the green gnolls and avoid the orange/yellow ones. After you free the captives go back to were you start and talk to the dwarf there. That's all you have to do.
Working on my Paladin Quest armor right now, on quest 3 at the moment. Hopefully I will have all my armor quest done by lvl 25 (21 now).
