I'm hoping that the Concentration mechanic functions a lot like the EX mechanic in terms of how it modifies your moves (maybe throwing in additional phantom sword stuff to everything you do?) but on a continuous play-it-flawlessly basis instead of based on timing a specific attack. I want any attack that whiffs *and* ever getting hit by anything to reset your Concentration to zero, and I want a full Concentration bar to let you just tear the shit out of everything.

The focus on iaijutsu as an aesthetic that defines Vergil is just, yes. Correct.

Sounds like they are steering Vergil towards being a high mobility character, as hoped, with Grim Trick.

And concentration is such a great idea, Itsuno and co are so good at coming up with mechanics that fit character personalities well.

1080p should be nothing for the new gen consoles, 1440p downsampled would be something to see on PS4

I don't think we know if Vergil will be getting his own mini campaign or not. We do know he'll be playable in all existing missions.

It sounds like Trish and Lady will be playable in the campaign, but it's unclear whether each will have the entire campaign, or they'll share like Dante/Nero.

Hopefully it will run just as well as the original DMC4 release did on my old laptop. I was really surprised by that, all the MT Framework games seem to run well enough on it.

DMC4SE is currently in development for the PS4, Xbox One, and yes, the PC, and set for a release this summer. It will be a digital release, but you can expect a tremendous amount of content and replayability at a great value.

Just take it out. It really has no place in Bloody Palace. I guess you could leave it in as an option, but there's really no point to it. Keep the grading by Style, not time.

Agreed, it's fine for mercs in RE but it's more fun to take your time in DMC and enjoy the combat.
