I'm already light in the pocket (trying to save for a holiday), so everything but Diablo 3 and Skyrim is a maybe at best.

edit: to answer your question, they've officially said they are 'pushing hard' for a december release. grain of salt etc.

Nice. I have it installed too on my notebook and installed it to for dad on family notebook.
I think I will buy him the game, but since he only played Bowazon(never any other character and he is competitive archer too might I add) I would like to see Demon Hunter with bow first.

Tell me about it. So much preorders - never had so many. Must save money, but don't want to wait till prices drop.

I was watching the original reveal footage, and it's amazing how much more polished some things are now. It still looked really good 3 years ago too.

One thing I did notice that I liked a bit better was this sort of more full-screen cinematic (with animated characters) for conversations, compared to just the achievement-bar sized box now. Maybe they still have something like that for certain conversations, but if they trashed it, I would understand as you couldn't be in any danger if a convo in the old style was taking place - too much of the screen would be obscured.

The one really noticeable thing is how much better the life/resource orbs look. Animation is so much more polished.

One other thing I noticed is that watching the trailers and such on the official site, it has a T ESRB rating pop up before-hand. Game rated T confirmed? Wouldn't be entirely surprising, since the old games kind of got a harsh rating for the content, and the ESRB is a bit more lenient now with what you can get away with.

Insert comments about art style, being dumbed down, etc. here.

I've been watching some of the videos. Granted that it's not a lot.

Two things bug (for now), please tell me I'm not alone.

1. The Medal of Honor "tomatosauce" like my cousin calls it. When you are low on hp the screen gets all red. I don't mind the actual indication of low hp but it needs to be toned down a notch.
   
2. Witch Doctors jumping toads spell. They are neon green, they really stand out for me and not in a good way. They seriously turned up the color saturation on that one.

They have an added blinding effect for the enemies by looking so atrocious. The witch doctor is a mean mother.

Now I'm feeling the same hype and I'm very curious about Diablo III. It looks fantastic and it feels like it's great to play. But I have a question... How do you play Diablo ? How to control your character ? I see points in the video, but no mouse pointers ? Is it hidden or do you control your character with keyboard ?

Bleh it's kind of frustrating seeing some of these people play.. Some rush through it, others don't use their new skills...

I also don't like that fan of knives skill for the DH. It's just spamming that stuff up close and it does fuck all damage...

You click where to go and the spells activate instantly by pressing the hotkey so no "select spell - click where to cast".

It's very smooth, you will love it

You hold down the mouse button to run, and just direct the character by shifting the mouse to a different direction... You use skills by either the left and right mouse button or the buttons set to the 1-5 slots in the skill bar.
