Banzaiaap said:Are there any live streams going on right now?
Also, what is in the beta? The whole campaign? Has any length (hours) been discussed?
Aesthet1c said:For those complaining about the graphics, trust me, the game is beautiful in game. Screenshots and streams aren't doing it justice. The only lacking portion is the no AA, causing character models to look a little dated, but that will come in a patch soon I'm sure. The UI and environments are nothing short of amazing.

Personally I don't even notice the jaggies unless standing still while looking for them in-game.RPGCrazied said:If they don't, this will have lots of jaggies. ;/
The beta of Cataclysm and even SC2 iirc didn't have DX11 rendering until very late prior to release. I wouldn't be surprised it's going to be the same with Diablo.SneakyStephan said:Man how does that even work?
Make a pc exlusive game then have deferred lighting (I assume) so they can't do msaa in dx9, but not bother with a dx11 build so they can have both?
smh blizzard, lazy fucks.

Because graphic engines programmers balance games, jesus people.FrontalMonk said:exorbitant amounts of money doesn't mean a thing when you only have so many people devoted to a project, deadlines to hit, and ultimately more important things to do with their time. I would rather blizzard put out a game without the DX11 rendering on launch if it meant that we got a more balanced, more entertaining game with systems that work properly (prior iterations of skill systems, etc.) than if they focused on polishing a turd. A pretty turd is still a turd.

Unknown Soldier said:It would be nice if Blizzard implemented DX11 just for MSAA. They need to go back and do that for SC2 though, forcing AA in SC2 is a pain in the ass and does weird things in SLI.

I'm torn between playing a witch doctor or a monk. I'm gonna eventually play them all but goddamn that first pick is BRUTAL

Yeah, it was weird how often he could use that.Calidor said:So, Monk has the good teleport now
It's a dash, and it only goes long distances if you have a target.FieryBalrog said:Yeah, it was weird how often he could use that.

No they aren't in the current beta.Jetku said:Runestones aren't in the beta??
I played at blizzcon last year, and they were in for Wizard, Barb, and Witch Doctor..

EDIT: watching that monk video my only complaint about the beta is the monster AI.... I swear he took less than 100 combined damage throughout the entire video.
Calidor said:So, Monk has the good teleport now
They're in the game, but you don't encounter them until later on, past the section the beta is locked into.Jetku said:Runestones aren't in the beta??

Kenak said:The game looks fucking awesome. The only parts I dislike are the movement indicator (the orange circle) and the red effect that covers the screen when you're low on health. The near-death indicator is self explanatory, but the orange circles make me feel like it's telling you something is about to blow up or damage you rather than just indicating that you clicked there.
Yup. To be more specific, you encounter them in Act 2, and the beta is only a bit of Act 1.KScorp said:They're in the game, but you don't encounter them until later on, past the section the beta is locked into.
Wow i hope this is true. U really get 5 different Version for every spell, it´s like u have a little Skilltree with 5 Points for each skill and u can choose one of the points. Thats fu**** amazingTrickster said:

I dreamt Bruce Willis was my dad aaaand I got a beta code >_<
Pixel Pete said:This thread is now about the affair Corky's mother had with Bruce Willis.
Pixel Pete said:Yep, so while the skill point system has changed, for better or for worse, these runestones essentially let you branch your base skills out into different effects, it's pretty kickin rad.
syko de4d said:Yeahe, now i am not hyped anymore for the Beta, because there are no Runes and Runes are so amazing and i don´t want to play the game without them
One Example for Hydras: U can have Firehydra, Icehydra with slow/freeze, Poisenhydra with poisen cloude, Arcanehydras with explosive arcanorbs or one big Firehydra with one big Fireball. Thats crazy![]()
