Where is the insane amounts of gore Blizzard has promised? Is the setting turned off for the beta? I hope Activision isn't getting greedy trying to lower the rating from M to T.

Having played through the beta multiple times, there is a lot of gore.

Really fantastic and looks beautiful. Can't wait for them to put all the other info up that's mentioned, but not released/linked to yet.

Sure most of it will become obsolete/unnecessary when we've been playing the game for months/years and there's some sort of diablohead, but right now? Drool...

How are the skills on the site calculated from base/max level?
Rune effects calculated from rank1/7?

It says at the bottom of each page that everything is calculated on there as if it were a level 60 (max) character with rank 7 (max) runes.

I'm sure that if they don't put out a more detailed calculator later that there will be community-made ones so you can tweak stuff at every level.

Holy shit ! runes are crazy... +55% movement speed for DH and monk...

Wave of light + Pillars of the ancients +800% weapon damage... new hammerdin ?

I would think that integration with battle.net would mean you could create hypothetical builds based on you characters or at least extrapolate a low level character.

My monk
http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/monk#bdeXZj!WZV!ZcacZZ

Offensive evasion, stacks up a good debuff on the enemy and aoes every time he dodges, which should be extremely often. Lots of teleportation and movement to get him into the fray and a spirit dump in wave of light. Any suggestions? I'm not really sold on the rune in my healing skill. It stays up for a while so I could use it as a constant 20% buff if I'm willing to manage it.

The synergy of ideas and iterative evolution behind the skills systems of Diablo II, WoW, and Diablo III is amazing. So much coming full circle and I can't wait to see how it feeds back into WoW / Titan.

Hm I think this could be an interesting Witch Doctor build: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/witch-doctor#ciZPTh!XYV!ccbYaa

Gruesome Feast+Sacrifice(Next of Kin)+Summon Zombie Dog(Final Gift) could be a nice combo of skills. Dogs would continually drop health globes on death thanks to final gift, resurrect thanks to next of kin, meanwhile you would potentially gain up to a 50% attack boost from gruesome feast thanks to all the health globes. Zombie Handler is a nice passive as well since you would have 4 dogs then. Combine those with a couple other skills and you'd have a solid army, high survivability thanks to the health drops, and a way to easily increase attack damage.

Only thing that confuses me a bit is the wording of Gruesome Feast. Would the increase be to all attack damage including skills? Or just physical/weapon damage?

Monk has two abilities that save you from death, plus some big heals and a damage shield. Probably going to be my #1 hc character hehe.

EDIT: The Angry Chicken runestone for WD Hex ability could be hilarious.

Edit : Monk breath of heaven at lv60, heal for 4790-6387 Hp and cost 75 spirit. With second life and more than 50% dodge I don't see how the monk can die.
And with the Passive "One with everything" Your Resistance to all Elements is equal to your highes elemental resistance.
So u only need to get one resistance to max. :)

In the brutal new Inferno mode, available only once the game's been beaten on Hell difficulty, monsters outstrip players in level range. Inferno difficulty is an epic challenge intended for players who have reached the game's level cap, and it offers epic rewards as well.

::drool::

Something I threw together for Witch Doctor:
http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/witch-doctor#SRZhjQ!XVe!aYcZbZ

Basically, lots of Poison AoE + Pets. Also got 4 sec cooldown for Mass Confusion, allowing for a lot of chaos while Pets and Poison are floating around. Very good for enemy groups I imagine. :D
Also added +Damage for Big Bad Voodoo, since 40% is a pretty big boost.

Really, you could come up with a lot of stuff given the skills and Runestones. Should be fun to play around with.

Check this out for Wizard

http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/wizard#miOglU!Xba!ZabbYZ

Passive Arcane regen through Familiar and passive, also if it works the way I'm hoping, Storm armor will slash the cost of my disintegrate. I doubt I'll require a signature move with the sort of regen I'm looking at putting out.

Threw this together for Barb.

Not sure how well it will actually work, but basically its all about getting a lot of fury to keep Wrath of Berserker going while you massacre enemies (and have enough left to reach the next batch of enemies to keep the death machine going). Now if there is a cap to the amount of bonus time you can get then that changes things.

Probably not that great of a build, but it seems interesting.

Some of the Barb skills are sick.

http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/barbarian#dcfbQk!adg!ZbaYZa

Open with leap attack (crimson) generating 15 rage and drawing enemies into me, start cleaving fools (golden) generating 1 fury for each additional enemy hit, turn on the frenzy and everything that dies here gives me 25% of my max health over 6 seconds (alabaster), call down hammer of the ancients (indigo) creates a shockwave dealing 172% weapon damage. Every fool that is left gets to meet my buddies Talic, Korlic, and Madawc every 2 mins thanks to Call of the Ancients. (crimson) makes Korlic plow through a line of enemies for %280 weapon dmg. THEN the remains get whirlwinded to death and when there is a critical hit (alabaster) restores 7% of life.

Passive skills bloodthirst converts 10% of damage to life, animosity increases my fury max 20 and increases generation by 10%, Boon of Bul kathos means that my enemies get to see my buddies every 1:30 instead of 2:00.

This is ridiculous. Gimme D3 NAO!!!

And you aren't even playing!

I really thought the Wizard's Mirror Image spell worked like the spell the Mage from WoW has. Basically, I thought the Images dealt damage.

Yup ridiculous amount of combinations for lots of unique playstyles! I really think Blizz made the right decision with this setup. Can't wait to try some runes out!

*Sorry double post >_<

I dunno, but throwing an enemy corpse is probably the coolest rune-skill out of all of them. So awesome!

People had this crazy notion in their head that Blizzard forgot to how to make good games.
This looks so awesome :3
