That's what Blizzard has to say regarding the full beta. It hasn't started yet.
It seems like a barb being buffed by a monk and monsters being debuffed by both would have crazy dps.Hazaro said:I'm digging Monk and Barb skill synergy.
Witch Doctor seems pretty straight forward, his mana takeback from runes seems ridiculous.
DH and Wizard seem a bit odd to me.

Bloodsent said:Forgive me for being uninformed here, but do all of the skills unlock by level 30 and you choose what you want to be "Active", or do you choose what to unlock and there could be skills you don't get? Just trying to understand the skill calculator, and if the unlocks at level 1, 6, 12, 18, 24 are the slots that you can map a skill to.
Lombax said:can you only see the skill trees if you are in the beta? I keep getting "YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO VIEW THIS PAGE AT THIS TIME." or is it due to bnet Tuesday maintenance?

I see five: http://us.blizzard.com/diablo3/world/systems/runestones.xml but yeah five types, seven levelsMrKnives said:I think there is like 7 levels of runes and 7th only drops in Inferno and it's pretty rare.

I should really start a LTTP thread I guess, although I'm sure there's been a few of those over the last year or so already!
Yes! Get LOD, its so worth it.Number45 said:Another quick derail (sorry!). I only have vanilla D2 at the moment (installed last night, it's patched to 1.12) - would I get a benefit from picking up LOD and installing that before I play, or can I happily just play it as is?

Fonds said:Would it be okay to assume that runes work a bit like glyphs in WoW?
I don't necessarily mean how they affect spells but more as in how (easily) they're acquired and redistributed.
In a PvP perspective it seems best (to me) to have quick acces to high lvl glyphs once you're at the appropriate level. Having gear + glyphs as empowering factors over less lucky people seems a bit much.
nacire said:Made a Rocket/Grenade build for Demon Hunter. Runestoned in a lot of rocket abilities, then added the increased rocket damage passive. The grenade runestone reduces the hatred cost to 12.5 then the Grenadier passive reduces grenades and cluster arrow hatred costs by 15, so does that mean free grenade spam?
I'm working on a Shadow Power build now, focusing on a quick regen of Discipline to keep the buff up as much as possible.
I think vault with the tumbler runestone effect will find its way into a lot of builds. It really increases the number of vaults you'll be able to use back to back. As of now at default you can do 3 before you deplete your discipline.
meh. The only information it shows is level requirement. Since The damage dealt is also based on char level, they need to make swappable levels. (right now it's almost always showing 30)Aesthet1c said:This skill calculator is insane. It's so awesome to see all the crazy combinations you can come up with. I really applaud Blizzard. This system is much more compelling than talents.

Hey, this is Diablo 3. Read about it here: links D3 info site.
Unicorns and rainbows not included.
See you on battle.net!

what exactly does it "calculate?". This looks more like "Hey show me your skills!" table.
but if they showed me STR,VIT,DEX,MANA and added the weapon I wield and the armor I wear - that would be so much more compelling.

I see nothing wrong.
You should be gloating and pendulum humping the air right now.
