I'll prove a point when i start hardcore char and play through the normal without dying in first tryYoshichan said:>KKRT00... yes? :lol I'm not doubting your knowledge here, but "completing" my list with some additional units is just embarrassing and doesn't prove your point - at all. D2 normal was slow as living fuck and it'll be the exact same case with normal difficulty in D3. Haters are gonna hate and hopefully stop playing before they even finish the game and realize that the real Diablo 3 starts with Nightmare (not really, it starts in Hell to be honest, but yeah). This will, again, be the identical case with Diablo 3.
edit: also,
We're talking speed here, and Goatmen in normal difficulty was not fast.
God, it's pessimistic people like you that I have to deal with when the game's finally released. Because neither one of us can prove a point because the fucking game isn't even out yet. The only facts we've got is that no matter how much you turn and twist the subject, the majority of enemies in Diablo 2 normal difficulty were slow. THE MAJORITY. THIS IS A FACT, STOP TRYING TO PROVE ANY OTHER POINT BECAUSE IT'S FALSE.KKRT00 said:And with my units and Your combined it gives like 30% of all units from the act, so how is not proving point at all?
From what i heard in D3 beta, there is only one hard npc, that casts hydras.
And this infuriates me even further, it's as if you're not even reading what we've been telling you. Not only did I tell you that normal IS 99.9% going to be pretty fucking easy (just like in Diablo 2), but Blizzard also said that. They said specifically they they want the normal difficulty to be there so that everyone can actually enjoy the game and if you're hardcore you'll pass through those parts so fast it won't even matter anyway. Did you even watch the damn panel, like seriously?KKRT00 said:I'll prove a point when i start hardcore char and play through the normal without dying in first try![]()
Why? The whole normal difficulty in Diablo 2 was a casual experience and if you don't agree with this, you're either 1: just completely forgotten how easy it is 2: got fooled by nostalgia of when you first played the game as a kid or w/e. The Butcher in Diablo 1 scared the living shit out of me as a kid and it took me like a year or something to beat him. Now though? He could might as well be a trash enemy.KKRT00 said:Ps. I dont have anything against making act1 easy, but they shouldnt make whole normal a casual experience.

Yep, thats why i was doing HC run 2 months ago ... and played with GAF some times ago.Yoshichan said:Why? But they said that in the panel yesterday.V_Arnold said:Then you should not extrapolate from a Beta normal Act1 chunk. Pointless.
So you pretty much admit that you played D2 recently and got your ass handed to you on normal? Holy shit, that's embarrassing, haha thanks for the heads up - I know who I'll never play with in future Diablo-games.KKRT00 said:Yep, thats why i was doing HC run 2 months ago ... and played with GAF some times ago. Haha, I have a feeling this fine man doesn't know who he's dealing with here? What say you GAF? Should I bother re-installing the game so that I can show my fellow man here my 92 HC Ladder shock zeal in hell difficulty? Or perhaps my 92 HC Ladder hammer in hell?KKRT00 said:If You really think D2 normal is casual make HC run please.

Seriously are You sober? Did i said that i got my ass kicked? Jesus fucking christ, where have You read that?Yoshichan said:So you pretty much admit that you played D2 recently and got your ass handed to you on normal? And this proves what? Because its not proving that its easy, but its proving that its perfectly doable [and should be].Yoshichan said:Haha, I have a feeling this fine man doesn't know who he's dealing with here? edit: or if they've made some kind of search function where you can search for players (how would that even work?), please search for Zhou_Tai and Yoshiyoshi

In the panel they said they removed on the fly skill swapping. I'm not a fan of this. I'd prefer having one hotkey for an alternative build for a specific situation, e.g. a boss encounter or against a difficult rare/champion mob. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to the upcoming patch and hoping they either add content or raise the level cap a bit.Artadius said:At the open Q&A panel today, Jay Wilson said that more beta keys will go out soon... but they're waiting for a big beta patch before they send out more. So for those of us that are supposedly flagged and waiting to have the switch turned on, this might be what we're waiting on.
They never really wanted you to switch builds for specific fights, I don't think. They just want you to be able to try new skills without it being permanent.Takuan said:In the panel they said they removed on the fly skill swapping. I'm not a fan of this. bigmit3737 said:No real news about D3 I at Blizzcon I assume.
I'm trying to buy a new laptop for D3, though I want to buy one during Black Friday (big sale in the US after Thanksgiving).
For those playing the beta, if you are playing on a laptop can you please list your specs and settings. I just want to get a general idea.
Thanks.

Well, hopefully they do some invites before the update, otherwise it could potentialy be a whileSteveWD40 said:So, fellow flagged folk, any hope for this week do we think?
They said something about the next "wave" coming after they update the client, but then one of us got in totally at random seemingly on his own last week (and not with the FB wave unless he just didn't check for 2 days)...
June is much too far. I don't see them delaying the game that long.Fallout-NL said:January. It would be great, but I'm going to stick with my June prediction and not be disappointed.

With all settings maxed @ 1366x768, the game is definitely playable with fps anywhere in between 30-60 ( capped at 60 ). The main problem I have is that the game gives me crazy freezes / micro stutters when new things load in and when I walk around open areas. I'm chalking this up beta or wonky drivers.
