Man, the Book of Cain is dropping some heavy hints about [potential character spoilers]
Belial appearing in disguise in the mortal realm - they're setting it up that he could appear as one of the NPCs (a questgiver?) you'll encounter during the game.

Mm ... could use one of those and that's a sweet price range.

Anyway, I didn't try running the game during the beta on anything but my SSD. Load times weren't really a big deal but no concrete information, sorry :(

@Yoshi: I know you keep posting those links for the youtube comment script. Just a note though: I had to edit the script for it to work for me. I had to add both of the urls they already have listed but make them https:// instead of http://. Now I have both http and https. Everything is blocked.

Yep it works great now. Since I have the original urls and the https ones blocked, it's all good.

I was getting that awful sound/texture streaming bug from day one of the beta and a solid state drive did absolutely nothing for it. The stuttering WAS listed as a bug on higher-end systems and it's supposedly been corrected in the retail build but I'm still a little worried.

In related news, does a solid state drive really help with videogames? There's a huge difference with Windows but it's negligible with most games.

My personal theory on that is (you really might not want to highlight this)
Cain was killed by the falling star and Belial is impersonating him after that.

Couldn't resist and
this makes the most sense and the largest shock value. Kind of assumed Cain was dead going into the game and then suddenly he's there in Act 1! Again! Somehow!

I know it was brought up earlier in the thread, the Battle.net SMS Protect service, will not work out for all of us.

Which, currently, is going to be required to be able to cash out to PayPal. And apparently I am ineligible for it because my cell phone is not through an overpriced 2 year contract provider.

Slightly annoyed right now.

As far as Chrome extensions go, I like YouTube Options better, because it allows you to tweak a couple more options, including hiding the comments.

I ordered a new wireless card so I could actually get faster internet for release and it didn't show up :(

If it doesn't come Monday I'm going to be playing with like 500 ms. I hate my life.

(I woke up at 1am. I'm getting less and less coherent as I try to stay awake and reset my internal clock so that I don't have to wake up at 2am to play a video game, now that I've got the CE)

Amazon is going to do that thing where they ship the night before release, and then no tracking information shows up because the box is on a plane 90% of the time.

I'm going to be in shambles.

I feel like since Blizzard is the publisher as well they don't really care about early release. I mean, they know that the game can't be played until the servers go on so if people get copies early they're probably fine with that.
