I had the worst gambling luck ever I guess. My gambling addiction got me practically nothing

well my very first gambling experience in D2 was my buddy giving me some gold and saying "gamble that shield" and it was Eyeless, haha.

but really, if you brought a Nagel and Manald with you, any unique ring you got was an SOJ. If you had those two in game already, they couldn't be gambled / wouldn't drop again.

Well, bosses aren't the best source of loot. Champions/Uniques have the better loot tables this time around. The Nephalem Valor system improves boss drops _to_ Champion/Uniques quality, however.

Also, I'd imagine it's the Act 4 boss since Act 4 Inferno has completely different loot than Act 3 Inferno (which has different loot than Act 2 Inferno which etc. etc.).

I have watched every video released by Blizzard for the second time today.

I must confess that even though I was hyped before, now, I can't stop thinking about Diablo any passing second.

I must buy many many beef jerkys for the Wednesday day of work, even maybe for Tuesdays half day off, if Diablo will come early.

I won't even serve my oil paying colleagues on the way back home if that will be the case.

I would think that the first kill of each boss in each mode up to Inferno has some kind of guaranteed drop, and perhaps Inferno will just be a mixed bag? Come to think of it, if you only get something the first kill and then it's downgraded to magic items, just gearing up pre-inferno could be a task.

If I had to guess anything, first kills of bosses have an improved drop chance. Maybe.

You get the 'Nephalem Valor' buff at level 60, which is the level you should be sometime in Hell difficulty. With that buff I imagine it will be easier to gear up.

Same will be said of Diablo 3. That's why I just plan to go pantsless for my first run on normal and just let it happen.

Just another warning/reminder.

You should really have a blizzard authenticator for this game. Either an IOS/Android version, or the actual physical generator. There's going to be *alot* of hacked accounts, and you don't want to be one of them. Your password, no matter how complex it is, isn't safe.

It won't track you time played, at least not that I'm aware of. But you can launch it through steam and you will have access to the steam overlay.

If it's anything like Diablo II, no drop tables but a set maximum item level droppable by any mob in the game (bosses included) and any kind of item can drop as long as it's under or equal that valor.
