I was going to boycott this game because of the RMAH, but after playing the open beta, I don't have to. I thought it was terrible, but then again I'm not a fan of the art or the genre in general. Sorry I can't join you guys, the hype surrounding this game seems ridiculous and for the life of me I can't figure out why.

Probably not. 4 players was decided upon so that every character was visibly pulling their weight, rather than not really knowing if they were doing anything at all.

Haha that skill sounds so funny but I think it could actually be pretty awesome, I think the first passive is a chance to spawn a zombie dog from a kill so if they keep popping you would have a lot of explosives so to speak. When I do eventually make my WD I'll definitely be trying that out at some point, likewise with the Wizard I really wanna try melee Wizard and see how that goes.

Yeah, it will depend on cost. I can definitely see things getting out of hand and gear going for like $100. That would be absurd. I'm curious to see how this will all play out. I guess if your time is worth more than the cash value, it makes sense. I just don't have ANY excess cash flow and my time is worth shit so that doesn't seem like fair reasoning for myself.
Unless Blizzard raises the $250.00 ceiling then I can see the rarest items going to 3rd party sites for sale. If they show up on either the RMAH or Gold AH then they will most likely get bought and then put up on a 3rd party site. Blizzard has stated there are a number of reasons for the cap and that they could adjust it in the future if they felt it would benefit the community and be worth the factors that come with it.

I'll be the first one selling vanishing dye on the RMAH so you better buy it before anyone else does it!
And there's a rune for Sacrifice where you have a 35% chance to spawn a new zombie dog when one dies, so for every batch you blow up you have a good chance to get at least one back. Looking forward to it.

Not trying to be rude. But you could buy a majority of D2 items online or through a certain forum with forum gold. But now that you can legitimately do this, you boycott it. Seems rather dumb. And you can't figure out the hype for the game because you don't like the art or the genre, you answered your own question.

When I make my Wizard definitely going female, Crispin Freeman voices the male and while I think that his voice suits him, I can't stand listening to him anymore. He just reminds me of tons of mediocre anime and I just imagine some of his random roles he's done previously every time I hear him. That and I really like the VA for the female, was watching that comparison vid on youtube and when she talked I thought it was awesome, can't believe I didn't try out a female wizard in the beta since I played the male up to 13 but I have seen the light. Female wizard > Male
