Because the latter isn't a digital version, it's a retail copy and you're just given the CD-Key. It's also probably not legit. And there's no reason to buy it through them since it's not even discounted.

Not many games can be played for 10+ years and keep people addicted. Blizzard has got pretty damn good at keeping people hooked. That is why I am keeping an eye on Titan as well.

Its been 12 years since the last game. Each Diablo game offers immense replay value, co-op fun, great soundtrack, and nice...sometimes scary gameplay experiences. Also no isometric action rpg has been able to top the physical impact Diablo game attacks carry.

I'm paying for the added hype that comes with the CE.

I was really tempted to buy both a standard and a collectors, keep the collectors sealed for years, resell.

But considering the game is an online only game and it also seems like they produced quite a large number, its not really worth it in my opinion.

It is just $30, if it was $150 no way I'd be getting it. I'm still torn.
